The Sportsman Lodge is located just past the Entrance Gate into 330 acre Heartwood Mountaintop Community off Heatons Branch Road. Enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of this rustic cabin with its incredible outdoor fireplace and spacious deck. Note: Dam breached and Pond has drained. There is alot to do within the development itself but if you wish to explore you are equal driving distance to Boone NC or Johnson City TN. I am the owner/developer of Heartwood Subdivision where the Sportsman Lodge is located just inside our Entrance Gate. I graduated from East Carolina University in 1973, played football, settled in Wilmington NC for most of my adult life until purchasing and developing a 330 acre mountaintop subdivision and moving to Boone. I am a licensed General Contractor in NC/TN, enjoy hunting, fishing, golf and spending time with my family. I look forward to your visit and memorable stay in the Sportsman Lodge. Ron
