Hi Claire, thank you very much for your comment.
I would like to give my feedback to a few points as well. We didn't talk much because we don't like to give our guests the feeling that they have to talk with us. We prefer giving them their space and if they like we love chatting or eating with them.
The next point you mentioned is about the toilet: After every guest there comes a cleaning crew that cleans the whole apartment. I wrote you the small note, because I prefer to clarify things in person, not in an Airbnb comment. I don't think it was a strong wording, we just pleased you to clean the toilet again after you used it and don't leave there any rest. You apologised to me in person and I thought we cleared it up. I think it's quite sad, that you are complaining here.
To your last point, that here is a strange odor in the flat. Actually I never smelled it, so I guess it's just a cultural thing. The building is more than 50 years old and in addition I think that how we smell and how we cook contributes how the apartment smells. We are living here since 2 years now and local people have never complained about any odor. So in my opinion, every person smells different and we can not change that.
All in all I am happy for your resume but maybe - also for your next Airbnb Hosts - you should mention all your issues while you are staying there. You gave us a bottle of wine thanking us for the very nice stay so I am really shocked reading your comment right now. That's very sad.
