House Rules

There are a few 'house rules'. First, we'd love for you to recycle. There are bins in the garage for your convenience. Also, our zoning permits that we don't have more than 7 people staying at the home in addition to not permitting pets or smoking. Your hosts live in a separate home on the premises, so loud-late-night-raucousness is discouraged. We encourage respectful, chill visitors who will take care and love the vibe of this home as much as we do. Depending on the season, our check-out policy is flexible. You can check-in with your hosts upon leaving to say goodbye or you can simply leave the keys on the counter and hit the road, whichever you prefer. No need to do any laundry or dishes upon check-out, we've got it covered!

Great house, location and hosts. The house is even better than it looks in the pictures and is only a short distance from downtown. The views were great and the background sound of the frogs by the pond at night made the experience all that much better. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone that is coming to the Cooperstown/Oneonta area.

I reserved this home for my family for a weekend visit to Cooperstown in early May. It was fantastic! Beautiful and recently renovated, the house is spacious and incredibly inviting. We took advantage of the grill out back as well as the large dining room table. Would highly recommend!

Amazing house, super hosts Gary and Edith, super easy location- easy drive, close to Cooperstown and good restaurants. Open concept made hanging out with family easy. Big dining area table for evening cards and games. Kitchen was big and bright, beds were comfy! Pond, creek, birds, and evening singing frogs filled our Weekend with nature activities. We'll definitely stay again on our return to the area!! Thanks for the hospitality!! Janet & Michael

Doug And Amanda User Profile

Hi airbnb! I (Amanda) am from upstate New York and Doug is from Ohio. We live together in Connecticut with our two kiddos Reggie & Quincy. Doug and I built Creekside in the summer of 2006 in the town I grew up in. He is a carpenter and I found out I am great with a chop saw, carrying large loads of wood and taking orders from my future husband. Creekside is mostly used for rentals, however it becomes a gathering place for family and friends during the 'off season'. We hope you will join us and enjoy it as much as we do!
