This is a lovely residential neighborhood. Very quiet and relaxing. The house is a 15 minutes walk from a nice trail that runs along the bay. Plus there is a little hidden beach that is exquisite for sunsets. Home is 1 mile from the quaint downtown of Pinole with some cute restaurants and shops. Within 2 miles to Trader Joes and major grocery stores, Target, etc.
8 miles to El Cerrito Del Norte Bart if you'd like to Bart into San Fran., rather than drive. There are also several local buses closeby.
I consider this home a joyful sanctuary, so please enjoy it as such. No pets please. Smoking outside the home is fine.
A perfect oasis for a family exploring San Francisco and the Bay area. A great house and quiet neighbourhood.
het huis was prima en goed bereikbaar in een rustige omgeving
we hebben ons prima vermaakt en danken Amelia voor de goede ontvangst.
Amelia's provided a great experience start to finish. She is a great communicator and from initial contact to final booking she answered all of our questions quickly and completely. Her home is lovely. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing environment for your stay, this is certainly it. The amenities were as listed - internet was great; all expected household items were readily available. And most importantly, the home was clean! Pretty close to spotless. Pinole is conveniently located. It is about 40min from Napa and 40min from the city (longer if there's traffic). It is about 10min from the nearest BART station, which was a much more convenient/stress-free way to get into the city. All in all, the stay was great. Thanks Amelia!
Amelia was a great host and her home was very quaint. The description and pictures of the house are accurate. The neighborhood is very quiet and great for families. We took our girls to the park that is three blocks away daily. We enjoyed not having a TV which made us spend more time with each other. We highly recommend Amelia's house.
Nice house, close to charming old town Pinole. Lack of laundry makes it not ideal for families with kids in its an extended stay. Amelia was very nice patient and flexible when our dates needed to change.
My host was very accommodating. she kept good communication going before and after the experience.
This neighborhood home was quiet and the home environment was peaceful and relaxing-- just what was needed! There is no TV, in case this is important to anyone-- but I found it contributed to the peaceful atmosphere and promoted conversation or quiet contemplation. This is a comforting retreat to relax, prepare a meal, and have a comfortable night's sleep.
Our stay at Amelia's house was excellent. She made us feel more than welcome. Had the house ready for us earlier than expected with a smiley face of flowers waiting for us at the door. Her description of the house was to the tee. Very nice house with nice beds to sleep on. We really enjoyed the neighborhood that we were in. Nice and quite and easy to get to. Within a mile or two was everything that one needed. Nice restaurants and also plenty of places to buy groceries or essentials. Easy drive to get on the BART so we didn't have to drive into the city everyday. I would definitely rent from Amelia again.
