I work for a Sonoma winery and would be happy to help schedule a tour/tasting. We are centrally located and our home is a custom built home with a soon to be empty upstairs after our youngest leaves for college. Enjoy a quiet place to stay while visiting Napa.
I had a great stay with Shandra and her family. The home is a nice neighborhood, and the room was as described. Shandra had refreshments and snacks available in the room, as well as spare toiletries. I slept comfortably though the bed is a little short if you are over 6'. Shandra is a great host, and made us breakfast in the morning and provided recommendations on wineries in the area. I recommend her home for any stays in the napa area, and would definitely stay here again.
We were very happy with our AirBNB experience. The house is really remarkable and designed and built by the owners. Shandra and her husband were very kind and accommodating and had prepared a lot of little details to make for a more enjoyable stay (toothbrushes, snacks, a fridge with water and wine) and our room was large, open and very comfortable. The house and neighborhood was very quite. It's pretty suburban so I wouldn't expect guests would do much walking in the neighborhood, but it's a short drive from many popular towns and 10 minutes from downtown Napa.
We love to travel. Starting to take more trips out of the country now that our kids are older. Our youngest is heading off to college in the fall.
Hoping to find a house exchange for late October/early November in London this fall.
We've never hosted Airbnb, but we did have an out of state harvest intern stay with us for several months. We're easy going and fairly quiet with a dog and 2 indoor cats sharing our space.
