The Space

The room is quite modest, located in a modernist building in the neighbourhood of Sant Antoni in Barcelona, Eixample area.
There is a double bed (135 cm), wardrobe and desk with a chair, enough for a laptop.
The house is distributed in a typical way in the Eixample district at the end of the 18th century, early 19th. The room has a small window that overlooks the living room, which has a balcony to the street This allows to have privacy and rest assured.
The House has two rooms, one large living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. There is wi-fi, TV, DVD, home cinema.
I live alone, so you would only be with one me in the house. It is an old building, no lift, and the flat is in a third and a half floor.
The area is completely central, in a strategic point that allows you to be close to everything you need for a holiday in Barcelona: 10 minutes walk from Universidad Square and España Square, 15 from Cataluña Square; public transport to the Airport (Aerobus) 2 minutes. 3 metro lines close (Rocafort, L1; Sant Antoni L2 and L3 Poble Sec). Many options for buses, and close to Sants Estació.
The district of Eixample is well known, but Sant Antoni has become one of the most trendy areas in Barcelona, full of bars (Federal Cafe, Taranna), restaurants, Parlament street, cinema, gyms, even a bar with free tapas right in front of house.
Two lines of trees in the street help to make this house comfortable in a safe and really nice area in the city. You would be quite close to other areas as Poble Sec, Raval or the gay area in the Eixample district.

House Rules

If anything in the house bothers you, please, let me know, so you can have a pleasant and comfortable stay.

In case you can’t find anything in the kitchen or you have any doubt about how an appliance works, just ask.

Please, turn off the appliances after you use them, as well as the lights.

Help me recycling! Plastic in the yellow box, paper in the blue one. The rest, in the bin. Thanks!

In the kitchen you’ll find filtered water. You can take as much as you want. It would be really nice if you help me filling the jar again if you see it’s empty.

As I don’t charge a cleaning fee, I only ask you to keep clean the common areas, and to be careful and respectful with the kitchen stuff and the bathroom. You’re expected to keep clean you’re own room as well, but if you want to get it done, it will be 20€.

The cleaning day for the house is usually saturday morning. Consider this please, you may hear the vacuum cleaner, but I won’t use it if you’re sleeping before 12 am.

Thank you for not being very loud at night, and when getting in and out of the building. We don’t want to disturb the neighbourgs.

Over night guests are not allowed, unless we discuss it and agree something different.

It’s an old bulding, with old doors, so the keys are quite expensive to replace. In case you loose any of them, I’m afraid you’ll have top ay for them, as the cost will be between 40 and 50€.

IMPORTANT: Lock the door completely when you leave the house. Thanks!

I’m very happy you’re here! I wish you the best time in Barcelona. Particularly in this area of the city, there are a lot of fancy and cool places for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Just ask me for tips, we need you to help small business to survive!
