— Non-aggressive breeds only (Pit Bull, Doberman Pinscher, Rottweiler, and German Shepherd breeds are not allowed)
— Pets must be current on vaccines and flea meds.
— NO PETS ALLOWED ON FURNITURE!!
— Pets CANNOT BE LEFT UNSUPERVISED and must be crated or left in the fenced-in backyard when the pet owner is not present.
— Guests MUST CLEAN UP ALL PET WASTE. Place all pet waste bags in the trash can outside. **If there is dog waste left in the yard, the guest will be charged an excessive cleaning fee.**
— Guests will be held accountable for their pet, and any DAMAGES to the property will be charged to the guest.
— Please reference our policy at the end of the ‘House Rules’ in regards to service animals and emotional support animals.
— ***Do NOT sneak in your pet without paying the pet fee. If you do NOT pay the pet fee before check-in and are caught with a pet on the premises, your lease will be terminated immediately WITHOUT a refund.
⭐️ FISHERMAN'S PARADISE ⭐️
BOAT RAMP
The neighborhood boat ramp is currently washed away at the bottom. Please do NOT use it.
There is a nearby public boat ramp just across the street. Most guests typically use the public boat ramp for the day and do not end up bringing their boat around to the dock onsite at the home. If you do decide to drive your boat from the public boat ramp to the property, here are some helpful tips:
BRIDGE
For the clearance at the bridge, the homeowner has a 27’ vessel with a tower that can get under, so it is at least 13’ clearance at an average high tide. We do recommend referencing nautical guides and charts for a more specific clearance guideline. Also, be sure to look out for rods in the t-top holders when going under the bridge.
NAVIGATING THE BACK BAY
When navigating from bridge to the dock at the home, be aware that there are not any clear navigational markers in the bay. You will want to rely on your chart plotter for navigation and depth readings. It can get shallow in the bay at low tide, so typically most boats just come and go during high tide.
BOAT LIFT
— *NOTE* There is a $100 boat lift fee that is a separate fee charged after booking. Please let us know upon booking if you will need to use the boat lift, and I will send the fee request.
— The boat lift is built for 10,000 lbs. Any boat under 30 feet should fit, but it depends on the dimensions. You can always tie a larger boat to the side of the pier using the four pilings.
— Please read the instructions on the control box
— You will need to turn on the breakers that are located in the black box as you step onto the pier.
— Do NOT stop the boat lift in mid-cycle.
— Do NOT leave the boat lift in the water unless loading or unloading.
— Please reference the additional boat lift instructions located in the back of the onsite guestbook.
— **We do NOT recommend swimming off of the dock. The canal is shallow, and there may be oyster beds.
🏖️ EMERALD ISLE BEACH ACCESS 🏖️
Emerald Isle offers two main public beach access points. The Western Ocean Regional Access is at Islander Dr and features parking, showers, restrooms, volleyball, and lifeguards. The Eastern Ocean Regional Access is at 2700 Emerald Dr and features parking, restrooms, and showers.
Parking is also available at the Bogue Inlet Pier in Emerald Isle. The on-site restaurant Surf’s Up Grill and Bar is located on the pier and offers views of the ocean while the pier itself is a popular fishing spot.

You’ll have access to everything in the home and on the property, except for the spaces that are locked and labeled ‘Owner Storage.’
Other things to note
BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
— Must be 25 years to book
— The person renting must be staying onsite for duration of stay (cannot rent for someone else).
NO SMOKING & NO VAPING
— Smoking is not allowed inside the home or on the property grounds.
— Violators will be asked to leave IMMEDIATELY, and a refund will not be issued.
— Violators will be charged a $500 fine.
VIDEO SECURITY CAMERAS
— There are multiple audio/video cameras on the exterior of the property that record underneath the home, the driveway, the yard, and the dock.
NO LARGE GROUP GATHERINGS
— Absolutely no large group gatherings and NO PARTIES. Guests who break this rule will be asked to leave IMMEDIATELY, and a refund will not be issued.
