Best location and rate in Durango! Dog friendly and historic neighborhood two minutes from restaurants and shops. $50 winter-spring rate. $65 a night from June 1 - November 1.
My co-hosts are my two dogs. They are three and one and very friendly. We are just three blocks from the train, so don't pay for parking! This is a large, private bedroom with queen bed, east facing windows and black out shades. Think of it as Bed and Coffee as we have wonderful restaurants that are very close. You are also welcome to put some yogurt or other breakfast stuff in the 'fridge and use the stove, microwave and oven. Coffee and tea available at anytime.
Adjacent bath with claw foot tub. Two other bedrooms on the same floor - one is mine, and the third is for my visiting children or other guests. I use a downstairs shower when Airbnb
guests are at the house. Large Victorian home built in the late 1890s with shady front porch and lots of character and charm throughout the house. I even have a baby grand piano! All four seasons of the year are fantastic in Durango and my house is in a perfect spot for you to enjoy yourself. Free WiFi. Two outside cats and two friendly dogs.
This house is two blocks from Durango's historic Main Avenue and just three blocks from the train depot. Restaurants, brew pubs, art galleries, the river, bike trails and more are an easy walk, bike ride or use our local trolley. A family of four can sleep in this room, with kids on the floor, or I have an additional room with a double bed for $30 a night. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have kids as we will most likely be able to work it out.
All of my Airbnb guests thus far have truly enjoyed themselves, whether in town for a night, two nights or even a week. The neighborhood has historic homes, pretty gardens and friendly people.
The Durango transit center is three blocks away! I have coffee at the house, but with so many great spots just a few blocks away, the breakfast choice is yours. You can also cook here in my full-sized kitchen with gas stove.
I have lived in Durango 31 years and can refer you to anything that you need in order to complete your stay here.
Two rescue dogs, Boo Radley and Scout will enjoy meeting you, along with two friendly cats who live outside, Alie and Mokie. Room for kids to crash on the floor with you, or I have another guest bedroom available for $30 a night.
Beth was a gracious host. The home is an old Victorian that she is restoring and is a lot of fun, and the room was very nice. Thanks, Beth
What a great place to stay! This was my first airbnb stay and it couldn't have been better! Beth's place is super close to downtown and in a lovely neighborhood. I saved money by just walking downtown. She had great advise on the area. The room was cozy. I'm not super graceful, but was able to make it in and out of the tub without hurting myself. Heated bathroom floors were a nice treat. Being able to control the heat in the bedroom was also nice. Her dogs are super friendly and loved to be petted. Beth is very welcoming and I got the pleasure to meet her children, they were a riot!! I hope all my future stays with airbnb go this well.
I just moved to Durango from CT and Beth was a tremendous host and resource for the area, making my transition smooth, comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks Beth!
The house is attractive and and an easy walking distance to town.
Beth was very easy to work with and available for coordination and information on the area amenities. Her home is comfortable and clean -a bit 'rustic' in places as home projects get finished up.
The bath is nicely outfitted and warmed by heated floor.
She was thoughtful in keeping the pets in control, and open to questions and conversation.
We are so glad we decided to try staying at Beth's place instead of a hotel. Our experience was great! The house is comfortable, homey, and located in a wonderful downtown neighborhood. The co-hosts (beautiful dogs) and the greeters (sweet outdoor cats) made the stay feel like home. They provided much entertainment. Beth (host) is an involved Durango resident and knowledgeable on local places to visit. She made us feel like we were visiting a good friend. Highly recommend staying here!
Whenever we're in Durango, we make sure to stay with Beth (and we're there quite a bit these days since we're relocating there). Beth is the unofficial mayor of Durango, who welcomes everyone with generosity and an infectious love for Durango and all of it's community. Her home is a true Durango home, with an enthusiastic dog party to greet you, the occasional young idealist traveler doing their laundry and helping out, a warm hearth to sit by in the evenings, and a giant clawfoot tub to soak in at night, with a a comfy bed and warm quilts to sleep in at night. If a true Durango experience is what you're looking for, then Beth's place is for you.
We enjoyed both of our stays with Beth, she is a great host. Her house is very close to downtown Durango, but not so close as to be noisy. We bring our dog Molly, who enjoys her visit with Beth's two dogs. Don & Lesley
