  • This studio was just what I needed for a couple nights stay for a conference. The studio was clean and well kept. It is small and efficient but comfortable. Some of the previous reviews mentioned trouble with hot water. This must have been remedied because my showers were always hot. The bed was comfortable with nice linens.

Oron was a great host. While I didn't meet him in person, he communicated promptly and was very helpful. He even sent me his personal list of "must see and dos" in Philly. It was great!

This place is made even better by the neighborhood. Some great bars and restaurants are very short walks away. I made nightly stops at Monk's Cafe (countless craft and international beers) and McGlinchey's (extremely cheap domestic beer and very interesting characters.) Beautiful St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Rittenhouse Square are also within walking distance not to mention Lazaro's pizza and Steve's Prince of Steak's cheese steaks.

Staying at Oron's made my first trip to Philly very enjoyable and memorable. If I ever return, I'll definitely keep this great host in mind.

  • I thought Oron's Rittenhouse studio was perfect! It was small and simple. I never met Oron personally but appreciated the ease of access that he made possible, i.e., I was able to check in and out at my convenience. The location was EXCELLENT! Quiet and safe neighborhood right downtown.

  • The location is fantastic, could not have asked for better. The room, albeit small, was clean and cosy. Communication with Oron was good, and lock box was easy to use. Would definitely recommend and use again!

  • Tiny (but adequate), cozy, and quiet. Comfortable bed. GREAT LOCATION! No parking, but there is a reasonable parking lot less than a block away. Host is very fast with response and all interaction was simple and straight forward. Perfect headquarters for any trip to Philly!

  • Very pleasant experience. I arrived quite late at night and it was easy checking via lockbox. Although very small, the apartment was quite comfortable and centrally located to most things. Would definitely stay there again.

  • Good location, smaller than I expected. Comfy bed. Was fine for a place to rest my head at night.

  • Oron is a great host. He was very clear throughout the reservation process and gave clear instructions on how to enter the facility. The unit is as described.

    February 2014
  • The place was perfect for me and what I needed - clean, comfortable and in a safe and centrally-located neighbourhood in Philly, close to the conference I was in town to attend. Oron made everything simple and easy, and was always quick and helpful in his replies to my questions. Thanks!

  • The location is nice, the studio is rather clean, agreeable in its disposition and the bed is comfortable but we have had many problems during our stay with the apartment:
    - There is no door for the bathroom/restrooms so if you're not a couple (even if you're a couple actually), there is a big lack of intimacy.
    - The wifi didn't work properly and the network Oron told us would work was not the good one.
    - It was impossible to regulate the temperature of the shower so we were either burnt or frozen…
    - There was an awful smell in the fridge so we didn't use it.

  • We can only repeat that: location location, location! Shops, downtown and restaurants are in walking distance. BUT: If you like to sleep on an a soft and uncomfortable mattress (pain in the back), if you like luke warm water in the shower, if you like tumbleweeds out of hair flying around your ankles, if you like to witness your partner/friend doing his/her business (no bathroom door), then this is the right place for you.
Our stay was okay, but as a couple it is too small since you are bringing quite some stuff. We also missed cutlery, mugs, glasses, plates since there is a kitchen corner, and you don't carry these things around with you while you're traveling. Safe locks and hooks for jackets and towels would also be nice.
Unfortunately, sometime ago (we don't know when) someone left some stuff in the fridge that was beyond recognition by the time we got there. We removed the stuff, but were unable to use the fridge during our stay because it was awfully smelling.
The place is okay and the price too when you're traveling alone and don't need much.
