Great location, walking distance to Bars, Restaurants, Cafe and the famous liberty Bell.
The Room itself is quiet at night, tidy and clean. There is no cooking space but thats fine as there are so many food places close by anyways.
I didn't meet Oron in person, but he was very friendly and helpful via airbnb messages.
All in all highly recommended for a short city break.
Great experience staying here. The space is small, but you can't beat the location, in the heart of downtown and in walking distance to every bar, restaurant and lots of shopping. Apartment was very clean, great for a quick getaway.
I really enjoyed staying here. It's a little bit Spartan but if you've done any travelling in Europe then Oron's place will be a familiar setup. The room could use a fresh coat of paint and some TLC here and there but it's more than adequate if you aren't fussy. Everything was very clean and there were a nice number of little bonuses - soap and shampoo, towels, keurig coffee unit and pods.
Make sure you understand - you're getting a tiny little apartment with an attached bathroom. Everything is super small but so long as it's just you, you should be quite comfortable. Think about it like the apartment of someone living at the YMCA, only with no dirty people or noise. The neighborhood is quite good and safe. There are a number of conveniences nearby including a grocery and pharmacy, bars and restaurants, etc. Basically it's a really good area of Philadelphia to stay in if you are not going to be at a hotel but want access to Center City. And this is coming from someone who has lived in Phila.
I booked the room one day before I checked in. It is a great location, 5 mins to city hall. Transportation is convenient. Many great restaurants around that area. The place is tidy. The room is smaller than I expected though. Oron is patient and friendly. The only thing I felt annoying was the sound of washer and dryer in the basement. Cuz the room is right above the basement, I could hear the noise when people are doing laundry. Overall, it's a good place for you to stay.
Entry to the room was easy. If you arrive after dark, a flashlight will help you gain access to the keys. The room is as seen in the photos. The room is warm and the bathroom wonderfully warm. We found the provided comforter too heavy and Oron exchanged it for a lighter bedcover soon after we called him. The location is excellent for getting around without a car. Oron didn't have any good ideas of what we should do with our car during our two week stay. I thought the apartment had inadequate window covering for it's ground floor location. We had to buy plates, bowls, and eating utensils. The coffee maker was greatly appreciated.
Oron was a great host, helpful and available to answer questions. Love that check-in is self entry, made it easy for us since we arrived late.
Neighborhood is awesome. Super safe and convenient. Monk's is a block up, Spruce Market is around the corner (beer, snacks, essentials), three minute walk to Little Pete's for breakfast, 15-20 minute walk to museum district. We walked everywhere.
The space is very minimal, but it has everything you need- hot water, coffee, dresser, mini-fridge. If you go in the winter, I suggest bringing an extra blanket and pillow. My boyfriend and I are tall people, so the bed and its dressings were on the smaller side for us, and it was just plain cold.
Perfect spot if you're planning to stay out-and-about exploring the city throughout your visit.

Being a positive part of so many peoples' experience visiting our lovely city has been a real joy for me. A special thanks to the people I've served for their private feedback in order to make new traveler's experiences better :) Also, thank you Airbnb for giving me the ability to host others in their quest to visit Philadelphia.
