Interaction with guests
We endeavour to greet our guests to welcome them to our cottages.
We are always happy to give advice on walks or what to do and see but equally we understand that some of our guests simply want the peace and solitude which our location offers.
We are on a quiet single track lane just outside the village. It is possible to walk or cycle from the door. The views are amazing and remain unchanged for hundreds of years. The pub and the church are a 5 minuets walk away. The village is a pretty stone built village with approximately 80 residents.
The nearest train station is Buxton (15 miles away), Derby (25 miles) is much larger on the Midland Mainland and Stoke (22 miles) on the West Coast Mainline. We do have a bus service from the village but it is under threat so I'm afraid I can't guarantee its service, sorry.
