The neighborhood is quiet and the people are very friendly. Located nearby is GiGi's Italian Restaurant, the Bon Aire and the Undertow beach bars, places the locals go to relax and catch the sunset. Also, a 1/2 mile south is the world-famous Don CeSar Resort, where DiMaggio and Monroe once strolled and it is rumored Mick Jagger wrote "Sympathy for the Devil."

Also, Island Ferry Boat Tours provides a ferry service to bring you to downtown St. Pete from the beaches for $25 round trip!
