Our place is on the Wild Atlantic Way and is ideally located for touring the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. You’ll love our place because of the light, the comfy bed, the scrumptious breakfast and the dogs, which want petting, and chickens that will try to scrounge biscuits crumbs from you. It's good for couples and solo adventurers.

The space
The bedroom is large and spacious with an ensuite bathroom on the first floor. It contains a large double bed. The open plan kitchen/dining room is well appointed. A continental breakfast is included and guests have the option of fresh eggs, from our free-range chickens.

Guest access
Our guests have access to the dining room/ lounge for breakfast, their bedrooms, the drying room in the garage and the gardens including terrace. There is a good range of books on the local environment and fast WIFI.

We will be available to interact with our guests upon their arrival and during their stay if they wish.

Other things to note
Kerry and Ireland are green because they receive generous amounts of rain therefore we recommend you bring rain weather gear with you.... these can always be dried overnight in our drying room. The washing machine and dryer are shared resources and may not always be available for you to use.

Gortaneden is on the Wild Atlantic Way and is ideally located for touring The Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula It is only 10 minutes drive from Inch Beach which is a blue flag beach with 5 kms of golden sand and popular for water sports such as surfing. Drive 5 mins in the other direction and you will find yourself in Boolteens village with its public bars and restaurant, local church. Or a few minutes walk and you will be on a popular looped walking trail, The Uphill Downhill walk.

I love animals, keep hens and sheep and ride horses. I live on the Dingle peninsula in south west Ireland with my husband, Jonathan, and love the scenery and the friendly local community. We are Harley fans and brought our 2 bikes over from when we lived in the USA. I love travelling and experiencing local cultures via their heritage and food (secret foodie). My life motto is "Do as you would be done unto". In 2017, I became a volunteer Puppy Raiser for Irish Guide Dogs and since then I have had a IGDB puppy boarding with me... I am very happy to explain what "puppy raising" entails to all my guests and encourage them to ask any questions they might have.
