This was my second stay here and it was great. The cottage is very private, in a beautiful location, and Bill was very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.
We were five guys (two men and three teens) who were looking for a convenient place to explore eastern Cape Breton - Sydney, Glace Bay, and Louisbourg. The place was perfect for us with two bedrooms and room in the living room for sleeping bags. The home is an older one, but it was clean and comfortable. The lakeside location was beautiful and we enjoyed having a fire pit.
Great deal in a beautiful part of Nova Scotia. Yard is massive and runs down toward lake just like in the photo. The house is simple but functional. Two queen beds and a pull-out sofa. Stereo set-up if you'd like to plug in your music. Highly recommend!
Our host was very communicative, easy to reach, when needed and helpful with advice. His place was as described on the website. Very comfortable and cosy. Beautiful spot, very peaceful. Had a great evening there. Would come back again in a minute. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We had a great one night stay at Bill's cottage while passing through Cape Breton. The cottage was clean and as advertised, and the location was beautiful! We definitely plan to go back and enjoy the cottage when we have more time.
Though I didn't get to meet with Bill everything was ready when I arrived and it was easy to communicate with him. The place was super clean and functional, right on the lake - gorgeous surroundings!
I would definitely come back if in the area again, and everything was as advertised.
