Our one-bedroom top floor corner flat is a short walk to both Noe Valley and the Mission. It gets lots of natural light and has a small backyard, both rare in this city. Come and enjoy our well-equipped kitchen and ride our two bikes around the city!
Our spacious upper story flat is in a two-unit building in a safe residential area. Enjoy a great kitchen, amazing new bed from Casper, well equipped living room, and a sunny backyard to relax in.
The flat has a queen bed in the bedroom and a convertible futon in the living room and can comfortably sleep 4. (Or more if you're bringing small children). Pets are not allowed.
We have two bikes that you can borrow - please let us know you'd like to do so in the rental request so that we can leave out locks and helmets.
Come enjoy our lovely home, sip a drink in our backyard, and experience San Francisco like a local!
Need to get some work done? Enjoy our lightning fast internet and wi-fi. Want to veg in front of the TV? You can play a video game, watch a Blu-ray, stream Netflix, or hook up your own computer. We've also have a great wireless sound system which you can control via iPhone, or choose from our record collection if you're an analog aficionado.
Guests will have full access to the kitchen with a slew of small appliances and basic cooking ingredients. Some coffee and tea options will also be provided, although you may want to pick up some of your own favorites as well. We have a Rancillo Siliva espresso machine, Chemex brewer, and a variety of tea brewing devices.
Linens and towels will be waiting for you (please let us know if you'll be using both beds or not).
Interaction with Guests
We'll most likely be traveling outside the city during your stay - we have a self checkin/checkout system with a lockbox. We'll of course be available by phone, email, or text if you have any questions.
It's a short walk to both shopping in Noe Valley's 24th St area and hip bars and restaurants on Valencia St in the Mission. The J MUNI line is only a block away for quick access to downtown SF. BART is about a 10-15 minute walk to go to the airport or the East Bay.
There isn't any guest parking, but you shouldn't have a car in SF anyway! If you need to use a car, there's a Zipcar across the street with great availability.
Other Things to Note
While we do travel a fair amount, this is our primary residence and we'll need enough notice to plan longer than weekend trips. Long, last minute stays often won't work - we ask that stays more than a week are requested at least 4 weeks in advance. If in doubt, please go ahead and message us. Thanks!
The apartment is on a street corner and there is some light traffic noise throughout the day and more noise throughout rush hour. There is also a house a few doors down under construction which adds to the noise throughout the day. This generally isn't a problem in the bedroom or at night, but is more noticeable in the living room.
The total pricing is what you see when making the rental request - we follow AirBNB's policies and don't have any additional fees or charges.
Lastly, we can't allow any pets due to allergies.
We stayed at Max's place for a week while the bathroom in our apartment was being fixed. The apartment is clean, sunny and comfortable, decorated in a fun and tasteful way. Max is a terrific host, offering full use of his apartment and lots of information for out-of-town guests. Check-in was very easy - we just picked our key up from a lockbox on the side of the building. Would definitely recommend his place to anyone looking to stay in the Noe/Mission area!
Max and his place was outstanding. Extremely comfortable, well stocked with all essentials (towels, entertainment, booze), and perfectly situated to enjoy's SF's Mission district.
I didn't get a chance to meet Max in person, but there was no need, as he had left detailed instructions for everything, and everything worked as instructed, surprisingly a novelty these day.
Did I mention well stocked? He has a fantastic bar, and is plenty gracious in making it available, within reason of course. Same with food in the cupboard and fridge, and his espresso machine?, so cool. I think I'll be ordering one for myself very soon.
I can't recommend his place enough.
Max is a fantastic host and this apartment is a great! It was super clean; sunny (with shades if you want to sleep in); loaded with linens, dvd's and amenities; and just as pictured. The apartment is in a great location near restaurants, bars, and public transportation. It also has a private backyard. Max has written thorough manual with all the info you need. On the one occasion that I had a question, Max responded immediately. I recommend this apartment and Max without reservation. I would absolutely stay here again.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Max's. His place was amazing and because it was the time of year, he had a lovely Christmas tree that made it feel like home. The space is very comfy and very cool.
Location was incredible. You can't go wrong sandwiched between The Mission and Noe. He had a bottle of wine, a nice welcome card and a lot of great city guides available when i arrived.
The backyard is very relaxing and quite large for SF.
Max was super communicative and helpful. He was very relaxed and giving of some of his spirits and other amenities. I truly appreciate my time at his home and would love to visit it again in the future. No complaints, no issues.
Max was a brilliant host and his place was exactly as described. A perfect stay, highly recommended.
What a lovely place to stay! Max's flat in Noe Valley is comfy, stylish and fun. My work-related stay was short and sweet but made much nicer by having such a fun place to come home too. Instructions were very clear and covered everything, and I felt right at home. The couch is amazingly comfy as is the bed.
I hope to get a chance to stay again for fun!
