The space
The apartment is on the second level of a two-storey listed neoclassical building in Athens.
It is in a quiet street, it has got 6 rooms (reception room, 2 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, library and office etc) a bathroom, a kitchen, a separated place for the washing machine and a storage.
It was built in 1925 and recently renovated.
Double frontage and sunny, this property is our primary residence and all our personal belongings remain in it, in attempt to preserve the features that give our house its character and not just to provide an establishment offering visitor accommodation.

Guest access
To reach the house from the airport, there are more than one alternatives. First :Take the metro from airport to monastiraki station (40 minutes-9 euros per person) or the bus from airport to syntagma square (line X95, 40 minutes, 6 euros per person). Then from both places (monastiraki or syntagma) take a taxi to the house. It costs from 4,0-6.00 euros if it is untill 24.00.
Second: You take the suburban railway (9 euros per person) and change at Neratziotissa Station. Then with the same ticket you have to take the green line (direction to Piraeus) and stop on either Attiki or Victoria Station.Victoria is the nearer one (4 or 5 minutes on foot).
Third: You can get a taxi from the airport to the house (around 42-50 euros during the day)

All points for essentials, all kinds of shops, supermarkets, groceries,bakeries,pharmacies, and banks are not more than a hundred meters away.Also,there are two open markets operating (one every Wednesday and the other every Saturday).
You can find there fresh fruit, fish and vegetables.
The house is very close to Victoria Square and St. Panteleimon Square. Furthermore, it is about 5-6 minute walk away from the largest public park in Athens, “Pedion tou Areos”.
