Apartment in Rome, in the heart of the San Lorenzo universitary district, historic district of students and craftsmen, in the centre of Rome.
The disctrict of San Lorenzo is easily reached by subway and bus. It’s very close to Termini, the central railway station, and not far from the new Tiburtina railway station. It’s a lively area full of restaurants, pubs, nightclubs, cultural happenings, pastry shops, and bookshops. It also has a colourful market and a lot of open air cafès with splendid home made ice-cream!
San Lorenzo is a “quartiere” developed in the late nineteenth century and it has particular historic roots to recent Italian history, especially the memory of the Second World War when it was badly damaged by air raids. It is a neighbourhood with a strong identity and convivial inhabitants. It is a car free zone by night, which makes it enjoyable for pedestrians.
The appartament that we offer has good natural light, with a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, a washing machine, an oven, an air conditioner, wi-fi connection and a television. The apartment has two rooms: a kitchen and a big room with four beds (a double bed,a bunk bed, a sofa bed). The apartment is located at the fourth floor of a typical building of the area with the entry door leading from the communal internal courtyard (ballatoio). The building has a communal terrace where you can hang out your clothes and enjoy a beautiful panorama of the city. The appartament is quiet, clean, and is furnished in white, red and with wooden furniture.
It is located 20 minutes by foot from the Colosseum, 5 minutes from Piazza Vittorio, a colourful multiethnic square with one of the biggest produce markets of the city. The hospitality of the owners is characterized by little culinary surprises and information about the happenings of the city and the district.
Nice apartment in a nice area, surrounded by great bars and restaurants.
Laura's apartment was great.
Apartment was clean and wide place to stay.
The location is hard to find someone who unfamiliar rome street,
but close to metro so can easily to get sightseeing sites.
Bad thing was wifi, speed was so slow;;;
Others were all good~~
Studio super, vaste, calme.
evetything great! Lauras place is sure among our top 3 airbnb experiences
Me senti em casa! Recomendo!
Laura was so sweet and kind. She took care of us every single thing! The room is well located - it is a walking distance from Termini (which is the central station of Rome). The room was so clean! However, the wi-fi was not that fast - Laura said it is only for simple research, but I could not find any routes or simple research by this wi-fi. The rest things are awesome! :) Thank you for providing us a pleasant stay!
We had a wonderful time in Rome! Laura was extremely welcoming and friendly, and even came to the train station to pick us up! The apartment was clean and comfortable as well, and we had no problems walking to the major sites in Rome. I would most definitely look in to staying here again if I ever come back to Rome. Thanks you so much for your hospitality Laura!
We loved our stay here! The apartment is adorable... the kind of place I would want for my own apartment. The location is very nice, easy to get to Termini, and also easy to go to all the main tourist attractions. The only small problems were that it was difficult to flush the toilet; however, about this issue, Laura was honest and told us how to work it. Also, we found the internet connection to be a bit slow and not always reliable to use (website hidden) or an application like this. But the place is really a very nice place and Laura was a wonderful host. Upon our arrival she had left us Panettone and wished us a Merry Christmas! We really had a nice experience. We would love to stay here again if we come back to Rome.
Our stay in house of marzipan was good.
Clear instructions and house rules were provided and Laura was kind enough to provide us the Raisin Croissant which was good.
Host was kind enough to provide the route maps to different attractions which was very clear and thanks for the help.
As we visited the place in November which was winter season the rooms were very cold as room warmers were not functioning.
Highly recommend this place for others to stay.
