David and Francesco are awesome guests. They've met us at the apartment by 8pm (we arrived later than expected due to traffic) and showed us the apartment.
The apartment is cozy and just in the middle of historical center of Rome - just 100 meters from Plazza Navona.
Davide’s apartment was one of the highlights of our stay in Rome. It’s was fantastic!! The location is outstanding, near to everything: Not only to the main attractions such as Piazza Navona, Panteone and Campo di Fiori but also to restaurants and grocery’s stores. The street is full of life; there are pizzerias and charming little typical Roman restaurants everywhere. Just around the corner there is a supermarket with everything you may need to be able to have a complete breakfast in the flat. They even have fresh fruit and fish and a butcher’s stand. The apartment is perfect for 4 people, with a main bed upstairs and a bed-sofa in the living-room, both quite comfortable and with enough pillows. The rooms are spacious, both the bedroom and living-room. The bathroom was clean with clean towels and had even some small soap bottles in case you forget yours. One nice surprise was to find a hairdryer, thanks Davide! Very appreciated!! The kitchen is small but with enough space to prepare breakfast or evening sandwiches. It might be a bit too “crowded” to prepare a proper meal, though. It’s ok during day-time but a bit too dark in the evenings because it doesn’t have a proper lamp. The flat was nicely warmed-up by central heating which worked perfectly well. For light sleepers, it might get a bit noisy at nights, we don’t usually have problems to fall asleep again but we were woken up by people from bars when closing time and some city-cleaning-vehicle at dawn. As I said, nothing that really bothered us (our children didn’t even hear it!) but beware in case you suffer from light sleep. In any case, we would totally recommend Davide’s apartment for your stay in Rome!!
The apartment: light, convivial, authentic, in one of several perfect neighbourhoods in Rome. Good price, good service.
The location, truly great: wine bar (Cul de Sac), ice cream (Frigidarium), quaint indoor breakfast (Novecento), bawdy outdoor breakfast (Campo di Fiore), restaurant (Di Tirambo, (website hidden).).
Beware of atrocious breakfast nearby of burnt, powdered eggs: Pasquino Cafe, 79 Via del Governo Vecchio.

We stayed at Davide's place for 3 days. Apartment is clean and spacious with all the amenities required near the top floor. Plenty of bars and restaurants below the apartment. Colosseum & Vatican city is a 25min walk each in opposite directions. Pantheon & Tevoli fountain is a 15min walk. Ideal apartment for all the sightseeing.
We had a few minor questions and there was very little communication after we booked. Although, we would still stay at this place again!

About the Host, Davide & Edwin
Hey It's Davide, an italian entrepreneur, ex actor, into architecture, design, art, vintage and...animal most of all. My 2 dogs are the children I don't have. I have never liked "total Ikea" and "grandmother's apartment" that so often I see on holiday apartments market. I would like like to offer something different to my guests; some of my apartments are basic and easy, some other are much luxurious, but all of them have an own personality, that probably cannot be found in a common hotel.
Edwin is my business partner, much clever then me in practical manual job, so he helps me keeping the apartments in order and welcoming the guests when I can't do that.
I expect to host respectful guests, easy going, smart enough to understand that communication and flexibility are important renting a private apartment: as traveller I know that each unit necessary has defects also other then strengths, and that the total perfection can be found at Hilton (maybe) ;)
So, I hope to host you and being in touch before, during and after your stay. If you will stay somewhere else, enjoy Rome and don't forget to visit some other wonderful place in Italy!
