Patricia was the perfect host! We arrived bit late and knowing we would be hungry, she made us grilled cheese sandwiches and offered us drinks. We sat there around the fire with her and her awesome little dog max and chatted. We stayed for two days and breakfast was excellent! She gave us a great recommendation for dinner in Dublin and she even asked her Daughter to recommend a place for us in Galway where we were headed in a few days. This was easily the best AirBnB I have stayed in. Patricia and David's place is only a 20 minute bus ride into Dublin. We had missed our bus out of Dublin and took the next one into Patricia's town and she was kind enough to pick us up from the bus station. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of hot water in the ensuite, and the garden outside her house is lovely. If you are debating between two places, pick Patricia and David's!
Patricia and David were amazing hosts! To say they were accommodating and hospital is an understatement. The home is absolutely beautiful, not to mention the surrounding land and nearby town, Trim, complete with river walks and castle ruins. Breakfast was always delicious and their company, always delightful. Wonderful people and home!
Patricia and David were perfect hosts for my mom, aunt, grandma, and I! Their beautiful country home was clean and inviting. They gave us detailed directions to the home and a key so that we could come and go as we pleased. They were also nice enough to open up an extra room to make us more comfortable. Their home was our first stop after landing in Dublin from the States; needless to say we were exhausted. Patricia and David were incredibly welcoming and offered us tea and snacks upon arrival. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and they were nice enough to pack a picnic for our travels. I highly recommend Patricia and David's Homely B&B and would absolutely stay their again myself!
Patricia and David could not have been more hospitable, emailing detailed directions and asking us to join them in sitting by fire in the evening. They have a beautiful home in the country. It was a wonder place to spend our last night in beautiful Ireland and getting to the airport in the morning was very easy.
Patricia and David are the perfect hosts and their home is a delight to stay in, with its large, comfy kitchen-dining-lounge, the generous bedrooms with views on to a stunning garden, and a bus from the local village taking only 30 minutes into Dublin.
