Check In
  • This private apartment was beautiful! A luxurious bathroom, modern and updated kitchen, and comfy bedroom plus a futon in the living room. Oliver was very attentive and stayed in close contact before our arrival with important details, including how to get there and how to find the key. Everything was set up for easy access and no hassles. We loved all of the details in the apartment -- reclaimed woodwork throughout, a fabulous barnwood kitchen countertop, incredible tilework in the bathroom and unique touches that we want to copy in our own home. We felt very comfortable and at home. The location was close to downtown C'ville and cool restaurants. Try the Blue Moon Diner for breakfast!

  • We had a great stay in this flat. Had great communication with the host before, during, and after our visit. Really appreciated the kitchen items, which made staying here easy, and the short walk into the downtown area. Neighbourhood was nice and quiet in the evening, and we had a great time seeing the sights of Charlottesville. Thank you!

  • Apartment is very comfortable and nice! Well equipped kitchen, roomy bathroom with both a tub and large shower, washer & dryer, nice screened in porch. We could walk to the Downtown Mall easily from here which was great! Apartment has been nicely renovated and is very charming!

  • This is the 4th (and by far NICEST) AirBnB we've tried in C'ville. I really commend the owner on the great space. It was clean, fresh, and very comfortable. My UVA student wanted some home cooked meals and the kitchen had just enough to allow me to actually cook. The location was convenient for what we wanted to do. Had weather permitted, we could've easily walked downtown. No complaints at all - I'll definitely try to stay here again when we return! p.s. The shower was heavenly - a small thing....but something that can make a big difference when traveling!

  • Super-sweet hostess, and very good communication, very quick response.

Very beautiful space. I agree with another poster, this was an all-time most wonderful bathroom, and so many small touches were just perfect. Nice bed, very comfortable. Walking distance to good restaurants. Very quiet at night. This was really a very good value, well worth the price.

  • We only stayed one night but greatly appreciated the location. You can walk to downtown in minutes. The bathtub was awesome after a day of hiking & Oliver was easy to communicate with.

  • This is a lovely little apartment, and we truly enjoyed our stay here. The facilities, including the kitchen and bathroom were fantastic. Getting the keys and getting in was very easy, and the location was perfect for getting around Charlottesville. We'd definitely come back if we pass through the city again.

  • The apartment was great, very clean and pleasant to be in! Great location too, we were able to walk to dinner just a few blocks away. All around a great place.

  • I wanted to stay in the hart of the city and walk to local restaurants and shops. This place offered a great central location and warm and cozy retreat during an unexpected snow storm.

I'm from Charlottesville, Virginia and live there with my wife. We have no kids but have a great dog (Lika) who won't ever travel with us for dislike of cars. We both work on behalf of non-profits in town and have just finished renovating our second house. We enjoy urban communities and look for opportunities to see how folks live around the U.S. and the world. We traveled extensively in the past and have dreams of a long trip around the world. In the meantime we get out when we can as we both keep busy with our work and projects.
