Come stay in the spacious 1st floor apartment in this newly renovated turn of the century house in Fifeville. This unique apartment enters through a covered porch and into a private downstairs apartment.
There is an open kitchen/dining room ready for preparing and enjoying your gourmet cooking. Bathroom boasts unique tile-work, claw-foot tub and spacious walk-in shower. The bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed with a new Serta mattress (bought in August 2014). There is a full futon for sleeping an additional two people (located in the dining/living room). The house is divided into two apartments with a double locked door between the two (no access between apartments, you have the downstairs all to yourself).
We generally only accept two night (Friday and Saturday) reservations on the weekends unless it is last minute.
Our house is perfectly situated in a great neighborhood where folks stop to talk on the street and walking/biking is the norm. We are just three blocks from West Main Street, a 10 minute walk to the Downtown Mall, and a 15 minute walk to UVA and the Corner. Extremely convenient to the train and bus stations.
We love animals and understand that you want to bring yours with you, but are also cognizant of the impact that animals can have on a house. Thus, we charge $20/per night for pets (negotiable for longer stays) and also reserve the right to learn more about the size, etc.
We have a stacked washer and dryer available for your use.
Plenty of counter space along with a full fridge, sink, dishwasher, microwave, gas range and convection oven. Perfect for making a quick snack, breakfast or a home cooked dinner. We keep the kitchen stocked with everything you need for cooking and enjoying a nice meal (no food).

Oliver grew up in Charlottesville and we have both lived here for the past eight years. This apartment is in a house that we renovated and maintain for Natasha’s parents. They live here during the winter and we rent it out during the summer and select weekend in the Spring and Fall.
This house also has an upstairs studio apartment. The neighborhood is quiet and we encourage our guests to keep the rough-housing at the bars and keep the noise down inside past 10:00. Inquire about renting out the entire house.
Convenient location near campus and mall. Easy walk to many bars and restaurants.
the host made me feel welcome and provided good information. the space is not furnished as pictured on the website. the futon is uncomfortable to sit on and the porch is cluttered. the towels and bedding did not smell fresh and clean. as a single women, i did not always feel comfortable walking alone in the neighborhood.
Thank you for your feedback and we will definitely take what you have written under advisement. We apologize that your experience with us was not what you had hoped. We always try to do everything possible to make our guests feel comfortable and happy in our apartment and neighborhood and it is disappointing when people are not pleased. We always put out fresh sheets and we are getting the porch ready for spring after a long winter.
Beautiful space! Will definitely rent from Oliver again. Faith was super accessible and helpful. Wonderful experience.
Charming space in a convenient location. Check in was very easy. My week working at UVa was very peaceful and productive thanks to Faith and this lovely apartment.
Cozy little place just as described. It was a short walk to the outdoor mall and even shorter walk to some great bars and restaurants right on W Main. Despite the 6" of snow that coincided with our visit and shut down most of the town my wife and I had a great time and will look for availability for our next visit.
The newly renovated property provided a very welcoming atmosphere. We chose this property given its location (within walking distance of the Charlottesville downtown mall) to get a feel for what it would be like to live in Charlottesville, and the property did not disappoint. It really felt like a home to come back to at the end of the day. The host communicated well with us leading up to and after our stay to make sure that we were satisfied. We would gladly recommend this property to a single person or couple looking for a cozy stay near downtown Charlottesville.
This place is a must stay!!! We had the most wonderful weekend at Oliver’s property. The apartment is gorgeous, clean, homey, and in a perfect location. Faith was outstanding and I appreciated her communication and checking in via text. Our dog came on the trip too and loved the property as much as we did. The house is walking distance to plenty of restaurants, UVA campus, downtown mall, and just a few blocks the Amtrak station. This charming place is a must see and I am grateful to have stayed there! Thanks again!

I grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia and live here with my wife, Natasha and our exceptional dog Lika. We have had many amazing experiences both as hosts and guests on airbnb and are always excited to host fellow travelers.
We have both recently transitioned to working for ourselves in order to have more flexible schedules and allow for more travel. To celebrate we went on a 10 month trip to South and Central America, beginning with the World Cup in Brazil! We are glad to be back in town and excited to be hosting again.
We are adventurous and outdoorsy, have a passion for good food and Virginia wine. We are huge fans of our community and look forward to sharing ideas and insider tips with you so you can enjoy Charlottesville to its fullest.
