About this listing
Well designed one-bedroom apartment in a diverse, friendly neighborhood located just off of West Main Street walking distance to UVA/downtown. Fully stocked kitchen, clawfoot soaking tub, beautiful heart pine floors and marble tile bathroom, screened in porch. Make this your home away from home!
Come stay in the 1st floor apartment in this newly renovated turn of the century house in Fifeville. This unique apartment enters through a covered porch and into a private downstairs apartment.
There is an open kitchen/dining room ready for preparing and enjoying your gourmet cooking. Bathroom boasts unique tile-work, claw-foot tub and spacious walk-in shower. The bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed with a new Serta mattress (bought in August 2014). There is a blow up air mattress for sleeping an additional person and a pack and play (located in the dining/living room). We provide all sheets and linens.
The house is divided into two apartments with a double locked door between the two (no access between apartments, you have the downstairs all to yourself).
We generally only accept two night (Friday and Saturday) reservations on the weekends unless it is last minute.
Our house is perfectly situated in a great neighborhood where folks stop to talk on the street and walking/biking is the norm. We are just three blocks from West Main Street, a 10 minute walk to the Downtown Mall, and a 15 minute walk to UVA and the Corner. Extremely convenient to the train and bus stations.
We love animals and understand that you want to bring yours with you, but are also cognizant of the impact that animals can have on a house. Thus, we charge $25/per night for pets (negotiable for longer stays) and also reserve the right to learn more about the size, etc.
We have a stacked washer and dryer available for your use.
Plenty of counter space along with a full fridge, sink, dishwasher, microwave, gas range and convection oven. Perfect for making a quick snack, breakfast or a home cooked dinner. We keep the kitchen stocked with everything you need for cooking and enjoying a nice meal (no food).

Oliver grew up in Charlottesville and we have both lived here for the past eight years. This apartment is in a house that we renovated and maintain for Natasha’s parents. They live here during the winter and we rent it out during the summer and some in the Spring and Fall.
This house also has an upstairs studio apartment and driveway parking for one space is first come, first serve.
The neighborhood is generally pretty quiet and we encourage our guests to keep the partying at the bars and keep the noise down inside past 10:00 PM. Inquire about renting out the entire house.
Please remove your shoes inside if at all possible. In addition to not tracking in dirt, it helps with sound between the apartment.
We love dogs and we are happy to have them stay. Acknowledging that dogs have an impact we charge for them as extra people at $25/night. If you have a dog, please ensure your reservation reflects it. Please no dogs on the furniture.
Please take care of our place as if it were your own. Our general ethic is to leave things as you found them. Please take out your trash and recycling located at the side of the house. Starting a load of wash is very appreciated.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund, including service fees.

I grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia and live here with my wife, Natasha, our daughter Ursula and our exceptional dog Lika. We have had many amazing experiences both as hosts and guests on airbnb and are always excited to host fellow travelers.
We have both recently transitioned to working for ourselves in order to have more flexible schedules and allow for more travel. To celebrate we went on a 10 month trip to South and Central America, beginning with the World Cup in Brazil! We are glad to be back in town and excited to be hosting again.
We are adventurous and outdoorsy, have a passion for good food and Virginia wine. We are huge fans of our community and look forward to sharing ideas and insider tips with you so you can enjoy Charlottesville to its fullest.
