Oliver grew up in Charlottesville and we have both lived here for the past eight years. This apartment is in a house that we renovated and maintain for Natasha’s parents. They live here during the winter and we rent it out during the summer and select weekend in the Spring and Fall.
This house also has an upstairs studio apartment. The neighborhood is quiet and we encourage our guests to keep the rough-housing at the bars and keep the noise down inside past 10:00. Inquire about renting out the entire house.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Oliver's place. It was our very first Airbnb experience and our first time in Charlottesville and we have nothing but positive things to say about both. The apartment was exactly as depicted in the photos, very clean and cozy, with ample room for the two of us and our little dog. We were out and about Charlottesville most of the time, so we didn't make full use of the great kitchen, but if we had stayed longer, it would have been a great place to cook. We also enjoyed the screened porch in the mornings and evenings. The neighborhood was cool and very walkable and bike-able. Now that I'm looking at the listing again, I see that Oliver took the time to recommend restaurants in the area, but he happily obliged my many texts about the best food. We would definitely stay here again!
A quiet and friendly neighborhood within easy walking distance to downtown Charlottesville, the Mall, Main Street restaurants, and the free trolley to UVA. Ten minute drive to Monticello and Jefferson winery. A lovely, renovated home, comfortable and easy to access. Lovely screened porch for outside dining. Oliver and Natasha are lovely and helpful.
The little apartment was exactly as described and perfect for our stay on the way through!
The listing was perfectly accurate, and Oliver was extremely easy to book with. The home was easy to find and access, it was clean (looks exactly as pictured) and welcoming. We had a great time!
Oliver's place was perfect -- comfortable, clean, and centrally located to get to both the downtown mall and UVA. Plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
Oliver and Natasha's place is very nice. Its a great place to get away for the weekend! The home is within walking distance to downtown Charlottesville and UVA. There are several places to eat and drink within walking distance as well, so you'll never been without sustenance! The bathroom in the home is very nice, and the porch was a real treat. We spent several hours lounging on the porch in the morning and evening...was a great addition to a lazy weekend!
This is the second time I've stayed at this property and arriving last week really did feel like coming home. It's a great jumping off point for exploring Charlottesville. Oliver and Natasha are wonderful, the apartment has *everything* you need, and it was once again spotlessly clean. We will look forward to returning to the apartment during all future conferences in town. Thanks!

About the Host, Oliver
I grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia and live here with my wife, Natasha and our exceptional dog Lika. We have had many amazing experiences both as hosts and guests on airbnb and are always excited to host fellow travelers.
We have both recently transitioned to working for ourselves in order to have more flexible schedules and allow for more travel. To celebrate we went on a 10 month trip to South and Central America, beginning with the World Cup in Brazil! We are glad to be back in town and excited to be hosting again.
We are adventurous and outdoorsy, have a passion for good food and Virginia wine. We are huge fans of our community and look forward to sharing ideas and insider tips with you so you can enjoy Charlottesville to its fullest.
