We had a overnight stay in Galway and Geraldine and Noel were great hosts. From the moment we arrived they were very welcoming and we really enjoyed our brief stay. Noel dropped us down to dinner in a nearby restaurant which was much appreciated and the en-suite room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty too.
Geraldine and Noel are great hosts who made us most welcome. The atmosphere was relaxed and they were very enthusiastic when it came to us getting the most out of our time with them.
The house is in a peaceful area not too far from Galway which was great fun to visit.
I would certainly recommend staying with them.
Geraldine and Noel were fantastic hosts. They made us tea and buns as soon as we arrived! They have a great knowledge of Galway and went to great lengths to ensure that we had a great holiday. I would definitely recommend staying here.
This was my first time using Airbnb and I can tell you that Geraldine and Noel have set the bar very high for hosting standards :)
It was a wonderful welcome, they were so accommodating, and even drove me to the wedding I was attending nearby. They are both well travelled and had wonderful stories and advice to share. After just one night, I could have stayed for a week I felt so at home! Geraldine is a wonderful cook and I was treated to a lovely breakfast with her homemade spelt buns and homemade jam - heavenly.
Their family home is a lovely place, with a beautiful garden. The en suite bedroom I booked had a very comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. The area itself just outside Galway city is very scenic and if you are travelling around Ireland it is the ideal resting spot, whether you are a tourist or a native :)
Geraldine and Noel made my wife and I feel welcome from day one. We were greeted with warm smiles, a cup of hot tea and a tour of the room. The neighborhood was quaint/quiet and nestled atop a hillside where clear views of lush Irish greenery were seen on a daily basis. The room was fresh/clean and exactly as advertised. Breakfast was fantastic to say the least and included: fresh fruits, cereal, Irish bacon and home baked bread to name a few. Furthermore, Geraldine and Noel even went above and beyond to accommodate specific dietary needs. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Lovely couple - enthusiastic, helpful with information, nice location just outside Galway. Directions to house easy to follow. Thank you for your hospitality - it was a great stay.
This was the first time we travelled overseas with our little guy and we couldn't have asked for a better stay with Geraldine and Noel. We stayed with them for three nights, and by the end we felt as though they were good friends. When we arrived, were warmly greeted with coffee and home made cake and our room was made ready for us with thoughtful touches like baby wipes and a change pad. Geraldine brought out toys for our son and played with him lovingly as though he was her own grandson. Noel was exceptionally helpful with directions, maps and advice on itineraries. Homemade scones, the best coffee in Ireland, comfortable bed, clean room and the warmest hosts one could ask for. We truly felt at home and missed them when we left. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and opening up your home to us.
