Plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars within a 5 minute walk as well as Les Halles, the city's fresh market.
Everything inside the walls is easily reached by foot

We stayed three nights here in Avignon and were delighted! The apartment was charming and very comfortable. It's been renovated to a very high standard and is very comfortable. It was my partners 40th BD celebration and our host left us a bottle of Champagne which was a nice touch.
A lovely location just far enough away from the centre to be quiet. Bruno was very welcoming and a great communicator.
Had a brilliant stay. The apartment was lovely - great to have that balcony!
Bruno, who showed us round the place, was very helpful. It's in a good location - quiet but not far to the centre and restaurants etc.
We really enjoyed our experience here. We never met Matt, but another person (I cannot remember her name) greeted us at the apartment and gave us the tour and answered our questions. She was very helpful. One really good thing was we actually had a 5th person join us at the last minute, and Matt was accomodating to this development. I loved the little balcony over the creek-except for the last day when the city drained it to clean out the trash. The stench was pretty overwhelming. The apartment was nice, and well located in the old city-many cafes and stores were just a short walk away. The only real hiccup was with checkout-the girl who checked us in apparently left for a trip of her own, and she did not answer any of my calls regarding the pre-arranged check out time. Thankfully she had arranged for someone else to check us out, but it made for some last minute stress as we scrambled to catch our train. That aside, it was a great experience overall. I would not hesitate to recommend Matt and his apartment in Avignon.
Great location right in the heart of activity. Everything we needed in the apartment. We loved the balcony. The young woman who met us was very sweet and helpful. Thanks.
Matt has an absolutely beautiful apartment in Avignon. We had an easy time with our arrival and departure. We worked with his agent,Micaela, who was a wealth of information . The apartment is within a short walk to parking and the public market.
Avingon itself was a little surprising. After so many beautiful French towns, we weren't prepared for the condition of Avingon. It was dirty in an uncared for way. I love Matt's apartment but I did not love Avingon.

About the Host, Matt
French American living in Geneva. My wife and I have a charming, 2 bedroom flat in Avignon that we offer on Air BnB as well as a room in our house in Geneva occasionally. Love to travel - meet people from different cultures and experience new things. Love great food and wine and try and combine that in with travels.
