An incredibly spacious split level two double bedroom maisonette, with the lounge converted into another bedroom/sitting room, making this ideal for sharers or a family. It is located within easy reach of Uxbridge Road and all the amenities Shepherds Bush has to offer. The block of flats is surrounded by beautiful private communal gardens.
The maisonette comprises of a bright entrance hall, large reception room (converted to bedroom if required), two double bedrooms, good sized kitchen/dining room, toilet, bathroom and an airing cupboard. The bathroom and toilet are not too modern but clean and presentable. It has a power shower and bath as well. The kitchen is equipped with the usual appliances, again not too modern, but spacious and clean with the usual appliances. The furniture and fixtures are basic. An iron, ironing board and hair dryer are provided. Clean bed linen is provided, but not towels. The property further benefits from its own private entrance, ample storage space and off street private parking. The apartment is on the first floor, serviced by lift. This is not a luxury apartment but it is clean, tidy, organised and very spacious with limited furniture. It has everything that visitors to London require for a short or long stay. Central heating is constant (24 hours of the day) from October and is exceptionally warm in winter months. Hot water too is constant. No extra charges for heating and hot water. The flat is connected with wi fi. I am sorry there is no television. As I said this is not a luxury flat with up to date and modern furniture and fixtures. It does need some modernising/updating and if you are wanting real luxurious accommodation this is not for you. Again, the apartment is very spacious, clean, tidy and minimalist with no ornaments etc that you have to worry about. It is an ideal place if you are looking for basic but comfortable and clean accommodation.
Check in and Check out times are flexible, provided times do not conflict with other in-coming and out-going guests. If for any reason I am unable to either meet you on arrival or departure, I hope you wouldn't mind collecting/returning the apartment keys from a friend who lives round the corner.
No smokers please.
The property is located just off the Uxbridge Road and within easy reach of Askew Road and the local amenities of Shepherds Bush. The nearest underground stations can be found at Shepherds Bush Market (Hammersmith and City Line and Circle), Shepherd's Bush (Central Line), White City (Central Line) and Ravenscourt Park (District Line). The Hammersmith underground station (Piccadilly Line) is a short bus ride away, making it convenient to connect to Heathrow Airport. There are numerous bus links on the Uxbridge Road and the A40/M40 is also within easy reach for commuters. It is a 10-15 walk to the famous Westfield Shopping Centre (the largest in Europe) and 25 minutes or so to central London by underground. The 94 bus (24 hour service) from Shepherd's Bush Green goes to Notting Hill, Bayswater, Marble Arch and Piccadilly Circus.
The apartment is available for one, two or three days, or longer - ideal for 5 sharers (there are two double beds in two double bedrooms and one single bed in the lounge). But if you want to use the lounge as it is the bed which is placed there does not come in your way at all. I do not charge extra for additional guests after the first two. The per night rate is flat for five guests. There is no security deposit or cleaning charges. Again, the furniture and fixtures are basic and low maintenance and there are no valuable ornaments or pictures which you have to be careful of. It really is an easy to maintain apartment for short or long stay and is good value. Please note that this is a very residential private block of apartments and at all times the privacy of the residents should be respected. Therefore this is only suitable for quiet holiday makers/professionals and those who are not looking for luxurious accommodation but a clean and tidy apartment.
If you would like to reserve the apartment, please tell me know a little bit about your party (number of adults, youngsters and children) and details of your trip to London. If you have further questions regarding the apartment, the neighbourhood, or any other information that you would require I would be happy to answer them.
Thank you for looking at my advertisement. I am confident you will enjoy this spacious maisonette while in London. If you need further information I would be happy to answer any questions.

Our 12-day stay at Carmaline's flat was simply amazing. She was there to check us in and was available at any moment for anything. As for the flat itself, it's extremely well located - even though Shepard's Bush is a bit far from the centre of London, there is a bus stop at the very front of the condo, which leads to the tube stations (Shepard's Bush and Shepard's Bush Market) from where you can get absolutely anywhere. There was a problem with the heating of the water and she did her best to try and help us. I highly recommend that you stay at this flat and when I go back to the city I'll definitely stay there again. Thanks, Carmaline! =D
Convenient location for all London activities. Spacious apartment with all basic facilities. Carmaline was an excellent host. She made regular contact prior to our visit and made sure she was there to greet us on our arrival. We would not hesitate to use this apartment again.
Carmaline was very cooperative and available. Before our trip the communication between us was plenty and informative. She was very available even with a check in at midnight (our flight from Italy was delayed and Gatwick Express was disrupted due to the previous days winter storm). The price is definitely cheap. It's a nice apartment for people that will just be using it primarily for sleeping, we were out into town the biggest part of our stay. The underground is 20 minutes away and the tube takes you downtown in approx. 30/40 minutes (via Hammersmith District or Piccaddilly lines). The neighbourhood is quiet and we encountered no problems. If you are looking for a cheap and fair place to stay in London, this your place.
Translation:The -: a lick of paint would be welcome, the shower a bit noisy Pros: bright apartment, relatively close to the metro (but 10 minutes from Westfield!), Well equipped (wifi, iron, hairdryer , and ready ... adapters) - our host was kind enough to put a little already available in (milk, orange juice and cereals Tropicana) Weekend lovely despite the rain! I recommend!
Carmaline est très accueillante et s'est montrée très disponible. L'appartement dispose de tout le nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour : connexion internet, une cuisine équipée... Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.
Carmaline was a very nice host. She met us at the apartment and even bought some milk for us. She also kept in contact during our stay there. However, while the rooms were spacious, the apartment was rather rundown. One of the heaters even fell down on one of the nights.
It is quite a walk to Shepherd Bush's station, so I recommend taking the bus there, especially if you have young children. But once there, it is pretty convenient to reach Central London.
I have been honest with the advertisement which says that the apartment is basic, some parts a little dated/not modern and clearly not a luxury apartment - but spacious, very clean and tidy. It does seem Cynthia expected not only a luxury apartment for the price she paid, but also towels and even washing powder - items not provided in the rent. I did find her demanding. In fact Cynthia only paid for five adults and requested for a sixth person to be accommodated, to which I agreed with the goodness of my heart and charged her nothing extra. She certainly had good value for money. The heater could not have fallen just like that. It seems one of them would have sat on it for it to get loose. I certainly noticed the heater had got lose after they had gone but it had not fallen down completely. If it did I would have expected her to contact me because she certainly contacted me asking for washing powder. It would make good sense for guests to familiarise themselves with the advertisement well before reserving accommodation.
Carmaline is an extraordinary hostess. She was very accessible, even before our trip the communication between us was plenty and informative. The price of the apartment, compared to the quality and the location was terrific; definitely cheaper than getting rooms in a hostel or hotel. It's a nice apartment for people that will just be using it primarily for sleeping like us, we were out into town the biggest part of our stay. The neighbourhood is quiet and we had to take into account that there was a young family living downstairs, but we encountered no problems doing that. If you are looking for a place to stay in London that'll take you no more than half an hour to get to the center, this is the place.
Carmaline is a great hostess. She wants your best. The apartment was spacious, warm an with two lovely bedrooms. It was also the possibility for one people sleeping in the livibg room. Nice neibourhood, quiet and with trees and birds in the front. Walking distance to Westfield, bur we prefered the bus. We will recomend the apartment and the hostess.
I had a lovely week in this sweet and quiet flat. It's in a good location with great pubs nearby and easy transport links. It's simple, clean and easy to manage. And Carmaline is a lovely landlady, very helpful and on hand for any questions.
