Interaction with Guests
We love to say hi and meet our guests when we're around, but we also give you your privacy. We're here if you have questions.
We love Echo Park because it's electic, lively, and very walkable. Even though we're in the middle of LA, we often go an entire weekend without driving. There are so many wonderful places to see in Echo Park and Silverlake. Echo Park lake, about a 15-minute walk from the house, is lovely with shady grassy areas and peddle boats for rent on the lake. Silver Lake reservoir, about a 20-minute walk, is a great place to walk around or relax at the meadow.
There are public buses within easy walking distance. The closest metro stop is about 2 miles away.
No smoking inside the house. No pets inside the house. We do have a very friendly dog who is sometimes in the shared backyard.
The property and backyard are a shared space between our main house and the guest house. It's fine to have music playing on the outdoor speakers until 9pm, but please limit outdoor noise after that time.
What a Great 1st Air B&B experience! This place is amazing and I can't wait to come back. A very classy comfortable hideaway in the middle of LA. Everything was just as pictured and described. The bathroom amenities and products provided were a Huge bonus, all organic, in fact, the whole place is enviro friendly. Great job you guys! Beth was quick to communicate and getting in and settled was smooth. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Beth's place was great. Even better than the photos which are incredible. I highly recommend.
I had a wonderful stay at Beth's gatehouse! Gorgeous roomy space, spa bathroom & contemporary kitchen. The 2 car garage was so convenient and access to the yard was perfect for my 4 year old son. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it highly!
We had a really nice visit to Los Angeles. The place was just as pictured and in a nice location in Echo Park. We would stay here again when we return to Los Angeles next. Both Beth and her husband were great hosts and we appreciated their hospitality.
This was my first ever airbnb experience and it was great! Although I didn't get to meet Beth, she was very responsive and informative from the getgo which goes a long way whe you're looking for a place to stay in a short span of time. The place itself was very clean, spacious and modern. It is also conveniently located close to a main highway so our commute wasnt too bad to various tourist attractions like Santa Monica Pier, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory, Universal Studios and even Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena. I loved that the guest house felt private (you have your own entrance), had a full kitchen, and even has a garage for your vehicle. The waterfall right outside the front door is also a nice touch w/the adjacent yard that you can also access. Great place to stay and for a decent price! :)
Amazing place, very cozy and modern. We really enjoyed our stay. We didn't get to meet Beth as she was out of town yet she was helpful remotely :) we will definitely stay again here for future visits
