Dominic was very welcoming and easy to deal with. The apartment was great. Perfectly clean, excellent location and great facilities.
Great apartment, great location, great host, great city! If you are arriving or leaving Edinburgh via train, Dominic's apartment is in a fantastic location. It's just a few minutes walk away from the station and just off the Royal Mile. And the street is very quiet at night. Dominic is a great host. Very proactive with communication and was willing to help with anything I needed, but we didn't need anything because the apartment was just perfect! Everything was in good working order and we had no issues whatsoever. We had a fantastic time.
Myself and my partner had the pleasure of staying in Dominic's apartment over the recent bank holiday weekend and could not have been happier with our stay. The location of the apartment was absolutely fantastic, with the royal mile/old town to the left of the property and new town to the right. Upon arriving in Edinburgh, we met with Marina to collect the keys and to show us around the property. Marina was so welcoming and helpful and had stepped in as Dominic was called away last minute (Marina also cooks a brilliant breakfast at the local Italian Bistro).
The apartment itself has been completed and furnished to such a high standard with some really beautiful intricate details. It had an instant homely yet luxurious feel with plenty of space for our stay.
We would highly recommend this property should you be heading to Edinburgh and could not ask for anymore. A really fantastic experience was had by all.
Thanks Dominic and Marina!
I thought the apartment was fantastic. I took a train from London into Waverly Station and the apartment was literally around the corner - took 4 minutes to get there tops.
Beforehand I was instructed to go to the bistro 2-3 doors up from the apartment to retrieve the keys. I was actually greeted by the host's mother who she gave me a warm welcome, the keys to the flat, and a brief tour (as well as good things to know about basic use - shower, hot water, heater, etc.).
The flat was also a fantastic and comfortable space, I felt right at home and had plenty of room. I was traveling alone but it easily has enough space for a couple. Furthermore it is situated right in Edinburgh's old town, and I had walking access to more than enough of the city's sites, activities, and venues to keep me occupied during my time there.
Whenever I had questions Dominic answered them, and he was very helpful. All in all, I had an amazing time in Edinburgh and would definitely stay in this flat on a return trip if it was available.
Our first time booking with Airbnb and this apartment did not disappoint. Dominic met us on arrival as had been arranged and explained everything about the apartment to us. The flat is beautiful, extremely well appointed and in an excellent location. We also found the time to have a delicious lunch at La Locanda where we were welcomed by extremely friendly staff. We would highly recommend both the apartment and the bistro for anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Fantastic central location, ideal if you want to be out and about sightseeing. Two minutes from the Royal Mile and a short walk to the castle. Very comfortable, modern, well-decorated apartment. Would recommend
