About this listing
Wonderful large studio apartment located in one of the best locations of London, minutes away from Leicester square, just around the corner from Soho and nearby China Town.
This lovely flat includes a very modern layout, power shower and an inviting reception area. Ideally for a single guest or a pair or a couple, it has a comfortable single bed and a double bed that could make 3 guests sleeping at one time.
It's sited only seconds away from theaters, coffee bars, pubs, tubes and buses. Also great for shopping and sites view along the river Thames. Night life can be hectic with the Trendy and friendly atmosphere all around the area.
I will be able to make special offer to stay longer than 5 nights so do not hesitate to contact me!!
Unfortunately I'm not ready yet to accept reservation for next summer during the Olympics Games.
I apologies for the inconvenience.
Soho is in the very centre of London. It is the busiest club and bar area in London.
Westminster is just around the corner and this is where you can find Big Ben and the beautiful buildings of Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.
Kensington is only a short journey away and is the home to several major museums such as Natural History museum and Science museum. The famous department stores Harrods, Peter Jones and Harvey Nichols are also located in Kensington.
Hyde Park is a short walk away, where you will find Kensington Gardens. On the east side off Hyde Park you will reach Oxford Street, the most famous shopping street in London with shops such as Selfridges and Debenhams. Most attractions of London are within easy reach, such as Piccadilly Circus, Madame Tussauds and Tower of London.
There are plenty of tube stations in the area that will take you wherever you want to go in London. If you want to enjoy the extensive night life London has to offer, there are also plenty of buses and night buses running 24/7 from all directions in London.
Before and during your stay at the apartment would be appreciated the following:
Keep the apartment tidy and clean for the all stay, clear all possible rubbish in the provided plastic bags. Turn off lights, kitchen appliance, AC, TV, heaters when not indoor.
We stayed at Lucy's flat for 6days. A rather tiny room for 3, but furnished with the basics such as washer, dryer, hair dryer, microwave. As there are a lot of pubs and clubs around the area, the streets can be very loud and noisy until 1-2am. A lot of restaurants around the area and is 5-10mins walk to the subway.
A great location in the thick of soho...but do be prepared for some noise at night as a result. It is quiet in the morning, however! Basic accom. & all you need if you are out and about for the day.
This flat was right in the middle of Soho! Since we had never visited London before, it was a great experience! I was there with my 2 adult children and we managed fine in her flat. Lucy made the arrival easy to arrange. The street is quite active well into the night--we really liked that!
Lucy's place is in a great location right in soho, right next to chinatown and shopping areas like Piccadilly Circus. Communication was fast and easy and she made sure to check in on us during our stay. The place is a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures but was more than enough. Overall a very nice stay and would definitely recommend her place.
Lucy was very easy to communicate with and very welcoming. The flat was cozy and in a great location, and was very comfortable. However, there were a few issues that make this a three-star rating instead of a 5. When we arrived at 2:00 (the time we had arranged with Lucy) her cleaner (Donna) still had not arrived to clean from the previous renters. When Donna, who was very nice, finally arrived, she found that the guests from the night before had not yet packed. We were told to leave our luggage there, which was not secure as the pervious guests still had a key to the room. Donna assured us that the room would be ready by 4:00 but it was not ready until after 6:00. This issue was possibly out of Lucy's control, though if the room had been ready earlier this issue could have been sorted out before we arrived. Lucy and Donna were both very communicative and apologetic, and eventually the issue was sorted out, but it was all a bit of a hassle. Additionally, the room was also supposed to have towels and wifi, but had neither, and there was a lot of noise and light coming in from the street, though given its location, that was to be expected.
