The Space

Feel very at home on your stay in Amsterdam at this great apartment!

The apartment in a typical Amsterdam mansion is situated in a quiet street in the middle of 'De Pijp'. With the sarphati-parc and the Albert Cuyp at a walking distance you're surrounded by little coffeeplaces, galeries, shops & bars. Walking around the neighbourhood is a great experience on it's own, but other parts of the city are easy reachable too. Within 100 meters distance you'll find a tram that leads you straight to:
- Dam Square & Central Station
- The canals
- Jordaan
- Museum Square

The apartment itself is an ideal stay for two people. It's 52 m2, light and has a balcony with sun from 11 o clock untill 6 (if there is any sun:-)). It's got a comfy bed for two, a kitchen with basic cooking equipment, a bathroom with shower, a cosy living room and access to wifi.

We're always within reach. We love to show you around and make you feel at home, so you can enjoy our lovely city like we do!

  • We spent a week in the Suzanne's apartment and it was a wonderful time!
We like the neighborhood - de Pijp is very quiet and cozy area with lots of food shops, bars and restaurants. You can be easily reached within 10 minutes by tram or a half-hour by walk from/to the city center.
The apartment has everything for a comfortable living and pleasant evenings. Great balcony full of sun will give you pleasure.
Suzanne welcoming host and I think you'll be glad to acquaintance with her as well as we do.
We would like to come back to Amsterdam and stay here again.

  • Spent 2 weeks at Suzanne's apartment March/early April. Fantastic neighbourhood with lots of wonderful local cafes and restaurants. The apartment has wonderful light and the large balcony off the back is a great bonus. The weather was amazing so we took full advantage to sit out back and enjoy the sunshine. The kitchen is basic, but perfectly adequate for a short term stay. We enjoyed a few home cooked meals during our time. Lots of local markets, boulangeries and grocery stores nearby to stock up as needed. Bathroom is tight, but again not an issue for a short term stay. The water in the shower was nice, hot and plentiful.

  • Great location, beautiful spacious apartment. Nice old house, very European :)
All nice restaurants, shops, parks and the famous Albert Cuyp market in walking distance. And, the best of it all, a balcony with sun almost all day!

  • We had a wonderful week in Amsterdam. We enjoyed the neighbourhood, the Albert Cuyp market and the bars.
Jaap and Suzanne were very good hosts and letf us information about the area and Amsterdam in general.

The apartment was great! Lots of space and light, and everything you need to be comfortable for a few days, although we enjoyed it so much that we could have stayed longer!

If we went back to Amsterdam we would definitely go back to this apartment as it felt just like being at home. Enjoy!

  • A beautiful apartment in a good area, close to the centre, the location is great!
Close to the market, where there is everything necessary cheaper than in the store.
The apartment is very bright and cozy. The kitchen is small, but we are always prepared and was comfortable and has everything you need!
    Very glad to stay here!

  • We spent fantastic days in De Pijp, we get strong, because of the staircase and we felt like real Amsterdamse meisjes.
The flat was our home, we relaxed and enjoyed very, very much.
Since we are back in our places, we are very happy that we got such a wonderful opportunity to stay, central, cosy....

all the best to Suzanne, Jaap en Woes

  • This is a great and really light apartment to discover Amsterdam with the nice location and the quiet streets with cute cafes and bars around at the same time! We've learned all the details regarding the apts in a few messages and the replies were very quick. Suzanne is a good and pleasant host, she kindly provided us with the hairdryer and the lists with recommendations were helpful as well!
We'll be glad to come back to this place again!
    Dank u wel!

  • Our host was very welcoming & friendly, information provided before & during stay was excellent. ..restaurant recommendations were much appreciated, we ate from 3 on the list & would definitely go again. Apartment is beautiful, perfect location for exploring de pijp & only a short tram ride or walk to anywhere else. Would definitely recommend to others & would stay again ourselves. (Note: stairs are very steep but no different to the rest of amsterdam!)

About
Hi, my name is Suzanne. Nice to meet you:-) My boyfriend Jaap and I live in a great apartment in De Pijp in Amsterdam. A beautiful place with lots of space we'd love to share with fellow travelers. I work in Amsterdam as a marketeer at 1%CLUB (a little innovative NGO). We're both big fans of traveling & citytrips. Always in search of the 'local' perspective, whether it's Birma or Paris. As your host I would love to tell you all about the great bars, restaurants, little coffeeplaces & local festivals you really shouldn't miss:-). We live in the same building as the apartment on AirBNB, so we're always near to answer your questions.
