Tall shuttered windows frame the picturesque views from the first floor sitting room and from the bedrooms.

A splendid covered outdoor dining room is reached via a shaded walk way and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher plus permanent BBQ overlooking private pool and terraces to meadows and river views beyond. The 10x5 pool is fenced with saline system, a healthier alternative to chemicals.
Activities in nearby village of Corgnac sur L'Isle include the Velorail. canoeing, tennis, fishing. Cycle the stunning Voie Verte from Thiviers to St Pardoux la Riviere – a traffic-free by-way, passing the beautiful and historic village of St Jean de Cole which is listed as one of France's 'most beautiful villages'. The Dordogne offers myriad choices for the discerning visitor. Famous for it's cuisine, foi gras and truffles.
There are many stunning chateaux and gardens including HAUTEFORT, PUIGUILHEM and JUMHILAC LE GRAND, where you can try your hand at panning for gold.
LASCAUX the most famous cave paintings in france are nearby and BRANTOME, the 'Venice of the Perigord" is just 25 minutes away. Visit the friday market, go canoeing, followed by a leisurely lunch at one of the many riverside restaurants.
SARLAT remains unspoilt - an architectural renaissance (website hidden) JEAN DE COLE, just 10 minutes away , is listed as one of 'Les plus beaux villages de France'
