If you are coming to KC for Jazz/BBQ I am located in the heart of the best venues.

Interaction with Guests
I love to be the concierge and share my 40 years in KC with tips on jazz, food and places of interest.
An extremely eclectic mix of affordable small rental houses and 1890 victorians. This is where the young musicians live.
The West 39th Street area a short walk away. It is one of the only areas in urban KC that has owner operated everything. Tattoos, books, readings, food and car repair. Little Greenpoint right here in KC
4 blocks to all main bus routes that connect to most of the urban core.
If you fly into MCI there is a city bus/Super shuttle to downtown where I can meet you. On weekdays the 129 bus runs to downtown for $ 1.75 and I can meet you there. Same for the Amtrak station.
I am happy to give you a ride in the AM to any place w/in 10 minutes drive. That includes UMKC, Downtown and the Kauffman Foundation.
Other Things to Note
Parking off street if you have a car.
Recycle and turn off the lights
No smoking inside but deck is OK.
For my first time using this app, I couldn't have had a better experience. Robert was an excellent host as well as a fascinating person. His home is clean and comfortable, and in an excellent location. I would certainly recommend a stay with Robert if you are in the KC area!
Robert is a great host! The room was clean, very comfortable and private. Highly recommend!
I didn't get to meet Bob, myself, but my partner really enjoyed talking with him and his place was absolutely WONDERFUL! Super private, cozy room and bathroom. We really enjoyed our brief stay and would absolutely return!
What a delightful and accomodating host! Robert is as personable and interesting as his home and accommodation for guests is lovely. I stayed an extra night, and will not hesitate to book again at the first (website hidden) best BBQ ever, just minutes away!
We had a great stay in the Solar Eco Home. Robert was very kind and welcoming. He had a great space prepared for us and also gave us some tips of places to visit and restaurants to eat at. The accommodations were great and the neighborhood was perfect.
I would recommend staying with Bob while visiting Kansas City. He made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Beds are comfy too!
