We can arrange airport transfers for our guests as well if needed.
We are flexible on check-in times. However, if there's another party checking in on the same day you depart, or checking out on the same day your arrive, the check-in and out times are as follow:
Check-Out time: 12 PM
Check-In time: 1 PM or later
The 1 rule is: Please do not smoke inside the house. We have ash trays in the patio and we would be most grateful if guests will abide by this.
We are 2 brothers who live in different continents growing up (US and Australia), and we decided to move to Bali together in late 2012. Right now, we decide to see a bit of the world together, so while we are traipsing the world, we are renting out our house in Bali. As the adage goes, a friend in need is a friend indeed, and we count ourselves blessed and lucky to have our friend, Sarah, who would be helping us checking-in/out guests while we are not in Bali. Sarah speaks Indonesian, English, and Italian!
Any information left out or something else you would like to know about? Please feel free to ask and we'll happily get back to you as soon as we can!
The only rule that we have is that our guests do not smoke inside the house.
We had a wonderful time staying at apartment W with a fantastic location nearby to Kmart and 15 mins leisure walk to the beach. Sarah is a wonderful host together with Kadek letting us experience the Balinese hospitality, warmth and friendliness that makes us feel at home. It was a shame that we did not get to meet Wanto and Hendro but I will definitely be going back there to stay. A wonderful start to my vacation in Bali and a true jewel. Thanks again for a home away from home, Sarah and Kadek.
This is a very cool place to stay. Hendro, Wanto and Sarah couldn't have been more helpful - their communications were always prompt, and they went out of their way to make our stay great. They arranged our pick up from the airport, made sure we had good Internet and helped us with a local SIM card. The room is clean and well equipped, with very effective AC. It's in a good location too, near a day/night market and not too far from the beach. The little Masakan Padang eatery (street food) on the corner of the road is excellent! My girlfriend is really into light rooms - the bedroom doesn't have windows, so she felt a little closed in but that's a small issue in a really good AirbnB place - we'll be back!
Sarah was very friendly and accommodating, she organised us a motor bike which was very helpful, the owner had good communication and advice of things to see and do in the area. Unfortunately the internet had lots of problems while I stayed here which was inconvenient, and the fridge had a problem as it froze all of my food which was annoying.. I wouldn't stay here again.
Thank you for the review. As the reviews are publicly viewed, I would like to comment on the issues you listed. Unfortunately, during the time that you stayed, the internet provider was doing some maintenance work in the area and it knocked out the service a number of times. However, as we noted during your stay, we also got a technician from the provider to troubleshoot the problem, and it was resolved. As for the fridge issue, it's a new fridge and perhaps the previous guest set the temperature to the lowest and hence it was too cold during your stay. We will be more watchful of this for future guests. Thank you.
Had a fantastic experience here. Rooms were lovely and as seen on the pictures! Sarah was really friendly and helped us around
The place is not too difficult to find and it's located very near Legian main street. Sara who was there to welcome me is very friendly and gave a lot of tips on places to visit.
As for the place itself, it's a rather modern looking apartment with three rooms, one for the kitchen, bedroom and toilet. The place is really clean and all the things are working well.
Laundry is taken care of with a laundry basket.
We loved our 2 week stay at this apartment. The hosts were awesome and easy going. Sarah was lovely and very helpful. We had a couple of minor issues and she fixed them very quickly. The place itself is exactly as shown on the listing. The location is also very good, quick easy access to the main shopping and eating areas or beach. Thank you very much for your hospitality, we hope to be back one day.
