Interaction with Guests
We invite you to join the table at breakfast time (7:30 - 9 am). If you prefer to have your breakfast later you'll find it in the fridge with your name on it. Do tell us what kind of breakfast you like.
Just over 100m to a surf beach that is popular wiith locals on Sundays, attracting a range of snack vendors, the neighborhood is relatively quiet and peaceful during the week, yet close enough to walk to Sanur, and easily access most parts of Bali via the Ngurah Rai and Ida Bagus Mantra Bypass roads. We can arrange driver with a car or rental motorbike, or bicycles with prior warning.
The ocean-side pathway (ideal for walking or cycling) connects south all the way through Sanur to Blanjong, and north to the Ayung rivermouth temple. Otherwise it's more practical to get around by car or motorbike (rental available, we can help arrange) as our access road connects to the Ngurah Rai Bypass - 2km to Sanur, 6km to Denpasar, 25km to Ubud. The airport can be reached in 15 to 30 minutes with the new toll road. If you land before 8PM, you can catch the Sarbagita bus from the airport to our neighbourhood. Best you hop off at the bus stop AFTER the Sanur KFC traffic lights. We are happy to pick you up there (but you'll need to phone us when you get there).
Guests are expected to keep noise levels low for other residents. First-time guests are expected to arrive during daylight hours unless having arranged to meet or be picked up at the Sanur KFC / Airport. Once settled in, guests are to help ensure the beach and pool gates are latched.
Kadek and his mum are wonderful. Great place and as described in the listing. Nothing but the best here.
I'm not sure I have the words to describe (and I'm not normally quiet!) but this place is a haven of absolute bliss. Far from the maddening crowds on the beach, this is an incredibly special place and made more so because of Sarita and her lovely son Kadek. Warm, welcoming I wouldn't hesitate recommending this place and as an Air bnb host, I think I know a wonderful find when I stay in one! Its not a question of wanting to go back, I must! Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Absolutely loved this place. Was much better in real life then the pictures.Welcomed as a friend would be. Sanur was a 10 minute walk down the beach to the right. Sarita told us of the local temple which was 5 min to the left, which is worth a (website hidden) daughter and I felt like one of the family and I will always be greatful for how welcoming and open Sarita and her extended family were with us.The pool was a lovely bonus, the living area relaxed with a lovely outlook on the garden and beach. A couple who have been staying at Sarita's for years, were just lovely to be around and their warm and generous company added to our experience. We loved waking up to the roosters in the mornings. The beds were extremely comfortable and after a week in Timor with cold water a hot shower was a god send.Spending time in Attic with a view was definately a highlight of our holiday, the only problem being we didn't stay longer.Would recommend this little bit of paradise to anyone.
On recommande!
This was my first arrival day in Bali and the staff of Kadek were very friendly to help me feel at home. For me this was a perfect place to rest from traveling and I can recommend this if you like to rest, take a quick dive into the sea and explore some of Sanur.

Born and raised in Bali until graduating from highschool, I pursued tertiary education in New Zealand and Canada. I'm now living in Bali where I manage my grandfather's homestay. This AirBnB account is created mostly to help my mum (born in NZ, has lived in Bali for over 40 years) get guests for her BnB.
