About this listing
The Climate House is dedicated to serving the community of people visiting Woods Hole in pursuit of scientific endeavors or working at one of the various scientific institutions we have here in our town. Since space in the house is limited we ask everyone applying to stay at the house to tell us a little bit about themselves and the work they will be pursuing here in Woods Hole before we approve their booking.
Private room with shared bath in a large Victorian house in the heart of Woods Hole. Steps to the ferry terminal, library, Pie in the Sky, Coffee O, WHOI and MBL.
Full size bed.
Our guests have full use of our kitchen and laundry. We have many public areas available for meetings or conversation, or for private work sessions.
We also have a ping pong table and a few bikes for guests to use.
Perfect location - near ferry, PeterPan bus terminal, and WHOI bus stop. Also, excellent shower.
This is a great house in a fabulous location. The hosts are welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
Alex's place is very convenient as it is right next to the bus stop and only 3 min walk to the WHOI campus shuttle. Alex and other people in the house are also very friendly and helpful in making my stay comfortable and pleasant.
I had an amazing stay at the Cupola House!
The house is very centrally located in Woods Hole, just a few steps away from the harbours and the delicious Pie in the Sky!
Alex is a great host, welcoming, helpful and very interesting talking to! Even though Alex was quite busy he found the time for all sorts of conversations which I very much enjoyed!
The room was a different one than originally booked but it was ten times better! It was spacious, very clean, had its own bathroom and a fantastic view over Woods Hole!
The kitchen has definitely all you need and if something's missing, Alex will make the effort to get it.
THANK YOU for hosting me at the Cupola House, Alex!
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Our stay at Cupola House was, what we hoped it would be. We spent three nights there and crossed over to Martha's Vineyard for the day.
It was a very friendly environment and Alex is an excellent host with vast knowledge of the area. If you ask him, he will offer wonderful recommendations.
The pleasant room my husband and I stayed in for 3 nights has a good double bed and a large built-in closet. A nice plus was the porch for guests with a lovely water view!
Both our room and the (shared) bathrooms were really clean.
If you're a light sleeper, you may find the early-morning noises from the nearby ferry terminal an issue.
Still, I absolutely recommend this accommodation for the uncomplicated traveler!
I enjoyed having coffee & a bite to eat at the nearby "Pie in the Sky" Cafe.
