Other Things to Note
From May through October we require a 2 day minimum stay with a Saturday night lodging.
Similar to hotels and other B&Bs, we need to collect the sales and occupancy tax for each night's stay and will do that as a special offer follow-up to the reservation as there is no current Airbnb system way to do that. The sales and occupancy tax equates to an additional $19.63 per weekday night and $21.14 per weekend night. Final tax charge may be slightly different due to your final reservation details (extra guests, optional indoor parking or extended stay discounts).
Because the Loft is so spacious compared to a hotel room and the kitchen makes it easy to cook, we know it is tempting to invite more people over for a party, meal or stay especially since we have weddings downstairs or it is easy to get to conferences from our location. However, if you are having more people than the guests you have registered, you will need to get prior approval from us and we can add on additional guest fees or a party room fee or we will need to charge your security deposit.
- We require a "trusted, verified" profile with YOUR photo validating your identity prior to acceptance of your reservation request. Please include a note about the purpose for your stay.
- We are flexible on check-in/check-out times IF they do not conflict with another guest's reservation.
- Our guests can not smoke in the Loft or in the building - we are a smoke free building.
- Since we have neighbors, this Loft is not available for large, late night group parties. Photo shoots, bridal ready room group usage and filming uses must identify that in the request and special pricing will apply.
I had a great stay! The space was very welcoming and comfortable. You can tell Jori put in a lot of effort to make sure that her guests enjoy the stay and that they have everything they need. For example, there is a skylight that I personally found to be very pleasant, but she detailed options about having it covered if I had a light sensitivity. As I stated before, I didn't mind but I really appreciated that there was the option. The location was great and was in walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and bar downtown. I would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Jori's loft! She was a phenomenal host, providing us with a few snacks, a warm welcome, and lots of ideas for things to do and places to eat. We especially liked the location of her place-it was fairly close (a couple blocks walking distance) to lots of main attractions including the waterfront shops and restaurants, but in a quieter part of town. Also we really liked the option of indoor parking for a very small amount! Great first AirBnB experience. Thank you Jori!!
Jori was amazing. The space was beautiful, clean, and very accommodating. Space was exactly as it described and very large. Access was easy even though my timing was delayed due to bad weather. Outstanding experience with this space, and the hosts. I hope any of my future Air Bnb stays are half as convenient as this one was.
Look forward to staying again in the future.
We had a great stay here. Jori was extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. The space was just as it looked in photos. Location was walkable and trendy. Would definitely stay again!
This place is great! This is the second time we have stayed here it is in the heart of Milwaukee. We walk everywhere even when it 0 degrees. The location is on the borderline of the 3rd ward and Walker's Point great areas for food, drink and interesting shops.
Jori is great she even sent two bags of treats for our dog Maxie.
Can't wait until we are back there in a few weeks.
This place is terrific! We had one of the best weekends of our lives. This neighborhood is so fun. Sitting on the edge of Walker's Point and the 3rd Ward you get the best of both worlds. Jori does everything to make you feel welcome and provides any assistance you might need as well as a welcome book that gives you all the info you need. We look forward to staying here again soon!
We booked with some confusion about the size of the loft due to it initially being listed as a 1 bedroom- but once there found Jori to be a welcoming and thoughtful host. The neighborhood is cool- many walkable restaurants and bars, and the great Public Market.

Clarke grew up in Europe and loves talking to people using his language skills if we have a foreign visitor - German, French, Spanish, some Arabic, Italian and Portuguese. He can instantly make people feel right at home and happy to help with any visit recommendations. Jori has owned multiple software companies so loves to speak geek! We enjoy travel, kids, dogs, the environment, new ideas and tech gadgets - ok so maybe not Clarke on the whizzy do mechanical things...he still has our daughter program his cell phone and she's only in 4th grade. But hey, if the world floods he's your man since he is passionate about wooden sail boats and can sail anything that floats! Welcome to our city and we look forward to making sure you have a pleasant stay.
