Pastries from Il Valentino, waterskiing on the dock and cycling courtesy of Dublin's city bike scheme (station right outside our building!) are some really nice experiences in the area amongst many!

What a fantastic place to stay! This was truly a home away from home. First of all, we ended up coming into Dublin a day earlier than expected and Mike was so flexible and understanding and we were able to get into the apartment a day early. The apartment was exceptional. It was very clean, smelled great, comfortable, very sunny, quiet, and in a great neighborhood within walking distance to the various things we wanted to do. Apartment looks just like the pictures! We only met Mike once, but he was very friendly and super helpful with directions and provided a great map for us with all of the different sites we wanted to see. He kept in touch via text throughout our stay and was very responsive whenever I had a question. This was by far my favorite place to stay throughout our trip in Ireland! We will definitely request again the next time we are in Dublin!!
Our stay here for 3 days last weekend was fantastic. The communication with Mike and Martin was very welcoming and nice (and we got some cool tips for restaurants from them). The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It is not too far to the city center as well as to the river. We would definitely return again!
My girlfriend and I recently stayed here and we could not have asked for a more rewarding experience. Mike met up with us and helped us to plan out our trip perfectly. We told him all the things we were looking for and he gave excellent recommendations that exceeded our expectations every time. We would have wandered around aimlessly without his expert help and it made our trip immensely more rewarding. The apartment itself was amazing. It was in a wonderful location, within walking distance of parks, pubs, museums and restaurants. More than the location, it was so cozy and beautiful that it made us feel as if we were coming home every night instead of to a place we were staying for only a week. The balcony was refreshing, the sitting area was comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped for use, there was beautiful art on all the walls, the bathroom was roomy and stocked with fantastic toiletries, the bed was dreamy (pun intended) and the large windows throughout the house provided brilliant sunlight to brighten up any day. We can not recommend this place enough. If you are lucky enough to visit Dublin, do yourself a huge favor and STAY HERE, it will be one of the best choices you make in your entire trip.
My parents-in-law stayed at Martin's and Mike's apartment during Easter time in Dublin. Without any doubt, this has been one of the best airbnb apartments I have ever seen and they are really happy with the experience (as first time airbnb users).
As for the apartment, it is super clean, smells really well and has everything you need to cook and relax. Besides, it is located in a super convenient place, not far from Grand Canal restaurants and supermarkets.
I would recommend this apartment 100% to whoever plans to spend some days in Dublin.
The apartment is really nice, well equipped and in walking distance to the city center (15-20 minutes). Martin met us when we arrived and gave us useful tips about restaurants and places to see. Super smooth check-in and check out.
Going to Dublin? Then we recommend you to stay at Mike and Martins apartment!
This was our first ever Air Bnb experience and we're total converts! The flat was in a great location. Only a 20 min stroll from town and a bike stand outside. It was super clean and quiet so a great place to chill in the mornings or before heading out in the evening. Taxis were also cheap into town from the listing. Mike and Martin were fantastic hosts and had lots of tips on where to eat and drink. We'd definitely visit again!
Wonderful place to base yourself for a visit in Dublin. Clean, well appointed, quiet, and safe. 10 minute walk to the City Center. Rental bikes just outside if you chose to cycle the City during your visit. Hosts were very nice, kept in touch throughout our visit to make sure we were comfortable and happy during our stay. The apartment is perfect if you want to experience the excitement and energy of the City and still have a quiet place to recharge in the evening.
