Pastries from Il Valentino, waterskiing on the dock and cycling courtesy of Dublin's city bike scheme (station right outside our building!) are some really nice experiences in the area amongst many!

Mike & Martin were great hosts, and made our stay in their apartment very enjoyable. The apartment itself was warm, inviting and close to many amenities. We highly recommend for anyone coming to Dublin to stay at Mike & Martins apartment.
Also everyone needs to try the food at the herb street cafe. It was absolutely amazing.
I cannot praise this apartment or the owners enough. The apartment is exactly what you see in the photos; stylish, immaculate, comfortable and so much better than any hotel. Our weekend in Dublin was massively enhanced because we chose to stay here. Due to the late arrival of our flight we had to check in after 11pm and Mike was kind enough to change his plans to accommodate this. He is exactly what you want in an Airbnb host. He was welcoming, very informative and generous. Any questions we had throughout our stay were answered immediately. We would not hesitate in recommending this apartment to anyone coming to Dublin. It's location is perfect as you can walk into town and if you fancy a stroll by the sea it is not too far away either. Also, the apartment is a stone's throw away from the Grand Canal Dock area which hosts loads of cafes, restaurants, delis etc. It is a really buzzing place. We highly recommend 'Herb Street' for brunch - we enjoyed it that much we went twice! Do yourself a favour and rent out this amazing apartment!
Firstly, the location of the apartment is perfect, I personally was able to get around everywhere I desired by foot.....those less adventurous will have no problems finding public transport.
Secondly, the apartment is just as advertised and 'chic' doesn't do it justice; I've stayed at 4 star hotels that couldn't compete.
Martin and Mike are the epitome of perfect hosts, prompt, super friendly and always available for suggestions. My trip was made whole by Martins excellent advice.
I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else when I return to Dublin! I cannot say thanks enough!!
We had such a wonderful and easy time staying in Martin and Mike's apartment, even though Martin and Mike were away on holiday they made us feel welcome and at home by arranging for friends to meet us with keys and go through everything we needed to know about our stay.
The apartment itself is lovely and light, has everything one might need and made for a brilliant base! It is super convenient for walking to the city centre and we loved exploring the local area.
The apartment was perfect; very spacious, clean and a nice balcony. Is has all you need and is good located in Dublin. Some good places for breakfast, lunch & dinner are in the area. We didn't meet the owners of the apartment but contact was very easy and fast. We definitely advice this great airbnb apartment to others! We also love to go back ones! Thanks guys!
Mike was an amazing host. Super friendly, easy to communicate with and gave us a really insightful tour of the apartment when we arrived. In a fabulous location it has everything you need! Lots of light and beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend! Thanks for having us.
