THE B & B ON BOND

With its cobblestone streets and thriving dining, shopping and nightlife scene, the historic waterfront village of Fell’s Point continues to be a favorite destination for tourists and locals alike. Our house, which is in the heart of Fell’s Point, is uniquely situated. It’s on a quiet, tree-lined cobblestone street yet is literally steps away from the harbor as well as some of the area’s most popular bars and restaurants. In terms of safety and convenience, you won’t find a better place!

Bringing a car? No problem ... free parking is included. No car? No problem! Our house is a short, pleasant walk from Harbor East, Little Italy, the Inner Harbor, National Aquarium, Science Center, the central business district and hundreds of restaurants, shops, museums and other popular tourist attractions. The free, daily shuttle to Johns Hopkins Hospital has a stop at our corner, and Baltimore’s famous water taxis, zip car and The Circulator all have stops a block from the house.

From the outside our house (which was built in 2003) blends in perfectly with the historic rowhouses and storefronts that surround us, many of which date back to the early and mid-1800’s. But looks can be deceiving as you’ll find out when you step into the foyer of this magnificently appointed 3,600 square foot, 4-story private home.

The first floor has a living room, dining room, large fully stocked gourmet kitchen and a charming outdoor courtyard with a fish pond where you can enjoy your morning coffee. We have two guests suites on the second floor with a large den with a fireplace in between. The fourth floor has a cheerful indoor sun room which walks out to a roof top deck with magnificent views of the harbor, Domino Sugar, Federal Hill and the city skyline. With the exception of our bedroom and the other guest suite, the entire house is yours to use and enjoy!

You will be staying in the back section of the house, at the end of a private hallway, tucked away from the rest of the house for maximum privacy. This large room features a Queen bed with a new pillow-top mattress, full en-suite bathroom, a walk-in closet and a small private sitting room/reading nook just outside the door. If your traveling partner is hogging the bathroom it's no problem ... there are 3 powder rooms (one right down the hall) that you are welcome to use!

When comparing rooms on AirBnB, make sure you look at more than just the price. We may cost a little more, but when you arrive you’ll know why. In fact, most of our guests tell us we don’t charge enough. Here's why ...

** Free Parking for one car either in front or directly behind our home (a very hot commodity in Fell’s Point, where parking both here and in the surrounding areas is expensive and in short supply!)
** Located in the heart of a bustling community with lots of taverns, shops and restaurants. Having lots of people out and about makes it a safe area to walk around, even at night
** Private bathroom – no having to share a bathroom with your hosts or other guest.
** Three additional half-baths to use if your significant other is hogging yours
** Convenient to Ravens Stadium, Oriole Park, Baltimore Convention Center, Johns Hopkins and hundreds of restaurants, stores, offices and tourist attractions.
** Large, fully-stocked kitchen which are welcome to use to cook yourself meals
** Continental Breakfast
** Bottled water, coffee, hot or iced tea available 24-7
** Sheets, towels, bath gels and shampoo provided; umbrella and hair blower available upon request
** Free Wi-Fi
** Cable TV in each bedroom
** Washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board (second floor hall closet)
** Secure indoor parking for bicycles
** Cot available ($10/day charge)
** Chill out by the fireplace in our second floor lounge
** Relax and/or dine outdoors in our private courtyard or on our roof top deck

No need to pay hotel prices. We are 1 block from The Admiral Fell Inn and 3 blocks from the Marriott Waterfront, The Four Seasons, the Hilton Garden Inn in Harbor East and many other popular hotels. Our rates are based on 1 or 2 guests per room, or a couple with one young child. Larger parties can be accommodated upon request … contact host for details.

  • Deni and Neil's home is both lovely and comfortable. Their personalities and the information given made it easy for this first timer to enjoy an airbnb experience. I was able to park my car and leave it as they were close to the opening of my daughter's show and anything else you might need or want is within a few blocks in Fells Point. Whether sitting on their roof deck or down at the waterfront the area was also very relaxing.

  • Deni and Neil were wonderful hosts! This private suite was part of an absolutely beautiful 4-story home one block from the water front! There is also a free shuttle bus that takes you to Inner Harbor just a few blocks away! The room was comfy and clean and the access to the den with fireplace was great as well! I would highly recommend staying with Deni and Neil if you are traveling to Baltimore! They also provided a parking pass for us to use while there so we could park on the street outside their building! There was also a great pub across the street with yummy food (including crab cakes!). Thank you!!!!!!

  • We stayed at the Deni Tabor's private suite last weekend and had a terrific stay. the room was lovely and spacious and the house was terrific. We also loved the neighborhood Deni and her husband were terrific hosts and gave us great restaurant and waling suggestions. I can recommend staying with them with no reservation. Plus - my daughter loved their dogs!

  • I had the privilege to stay with Deni and Neil the first 4 weeks after my move to Baltimore... and it was just great! They really cared about me, showed me their Fells Point and became real friends to me. The suite is located in a classic rowhouse just steps from the waterfront promenade, just one block away of the bus, the Hopkins shuttle and Zipcars... the perfect location, even for people like me who have no car. The whole house was very clean, with all the amenities you could think of. As I am living in walking distance right now, I still keep contact with Deni and Neil as well as the two cute dogs and I warmly recommend this house to any visitors of Baltimore.

  • We loved our stay here! The room has an ensuite bathroom, there is a lovely sitting room on the same floor, (also a top floor deck which would be a lot of fun in the summer) and the location was absolutely perfect for us. Fell's point is a charming neighbourhood for walking around, eating, enjoying a beverage while listening to live music, or getting an impromptu history lesson from a local craftsman. Deni and Neil were excellent hosts, they are knowledgeable and passionate about the neighbourhood and we appreciated their recomendations.

  • We had a wonderful weekend visit with our family in Baltimore thanks to Deni and her beautiful home in Fells Point. The suite of rooms we rented were extremely spacious, comfortable, beautifully furnished, private, quiet, and spotlessly clean. The art and photos that abound give the suite a warm, family feel. Deni was a most gracious and informative hostess. We will definitely stay with her on our next trip to Baltimore.

  • This was my first AirBnB stay and a great experience from beginning to end. Deni was extremely helpful answering all my questions and helping me get settled before the stay even started. Once we arrived Neil and Deni were both welcoming and helpful. The location was PERFECT... we could not have asked to be closer to the Fells Point "action"... yet it was quiet and safe. Thank you Deni and Neil for making my first Air BnB so wonderful!

  • Beautiful, large house with a perfect location in Fell's Point. Relatively easy access to the stadiums with the free Circulator bus, but we just walked to the harbor - a pleasant, 30 minute walk.

Guest room bed was firm and comfortable. Shower was low-flow, but we managed.

The hosts are extremely pleasant people. Deni provided a (very!) thorough tour of the house and made sure we felt at home.

I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Baltimore.

About
Member of Airbnb's "Best n' Baltimore" Neil and I moved from the suburbs to the city 10 years ago. We chose Fell’s Point because of it’s charm, warmth and energy . . . and because there are multiple taverns with live music seven nights a week within two blocks of our house. We are blessed to have a large and very eclectic circle of friends, many of whom are much younger which keeps us young. We work hard and play hard . . . there is never a lack of interesting and fun things to do here. We’ve been married 32 years. Our children are grown with homes of their own, so now it's just me, Neil and our two small dogs Lily and Roxy. We thought of downsizing, but love the house and the location too much. We go out a lot, and often meet visitors who are in town for business or vacation. We enjoy telling them about our great city and making recommendations … sometimes we even wind up spending the evening together, giving them an ‘insiders tour’ of some of our favorite spots. Shot in the Dark at One Eyed Mikes is always a favorite! Friends told us about AirBnB last year … they thought it would be a good fit and they were right. We started hosting in July and are thoroughly enjoying it.
