This place is convenient to the town of Ithaca. Easy to find and good directions to the location. But it is a basement apartment and is reddened with mold and must. It spacious and pretty clean. Full kitchen but the fuses keep blowing so preparing and cooking could be tricky. …
Response from Maksim:
Appreciate you staying with us but have to publicly respond to the feedback. You make a very bold accusation regarding mold in your review. Even in our conversation post-feedback you affirmed that the "mold" was based on your experience and not because you actually observed any mold. The space is sometimes, naturally humid because of the geography and we do our best to keep it dry with high end dehumidifiers. We had the place inspected before and after your stay, none has been found and the sheetrock is dry. I find your review very insulting and borderline libelous, but unfortunately Airbnb will not remove your false accusations. Regarding your comment on the fuses and your inability to contact us because "we didn't leave a phone number" --- you were able to reach us before and after the stay via the Airbnb system. Our numbers are there as well. That's how we communicate and have a very high response rate. The fuses go off when too many appliances are being used -- with light use, as the system is designed there are no issues. The fuses are designed that way to keep the apt safe. We could've explained this to you if you just reached out, instead of waited until after the reservation to complain. - Max
