About This Listing
Un lieu atypique en plein centre ville, au calme d'une rue piétonne.
A charming place in a small street pedestrian really near the theatre L'Archevêché and the city hall square.
You will enjoy the place to live with an american kitchen and a relaxing place.
Stairs will lead you to the night place with a large bedroom, a small living room and a bathroom in the rock.
In couple, in family or in friends : a big bed and a sofa which you are able to put in a bed.
You will be situated in the heart of the city of Aix en Provence where you will be able to take advantage from the musical atmosphere and also from the lyric festival which usually principally takes place in the theatre of L'Archeveché.
le logement n'est pas adapté pour les plus petits car le puits de lumière n'est pas très sécurisé.
The apartment is unlike any accommodation you will stay in. Remarkable artwork, LED uplit walls and full kitchen as well as dining room table which seats 4. Ideal for folks staying a full weekend in Provence. Location is close to the different courtyards which are full of people and restaurants.
Just a small few reasons why I would rate this 4 in lieu of 5. We had 2 couples in our group and in one of the bedrooms, you must walk through the other bedroom to use the restroom or shower. Low privacy level. Second, the number listed in airbnb went straight to a voicemail service. Upon arrival at the place, we called multiple times, knocked on the door, and after 20min, noticed a small sticky note written in French asking to call a different number. The sticky note was on a door with no address. Luckily, this was the new number to contact the host and they showed up 10 min later.
If you can properly coordinate with this host confirm!ing times, etc, my family and I would highly recommend.
Pascale's studio was amazing. Because my family were disappointed with the poor apartment in Barcelona, we need something to cheer up, and her studio was definitely did the role. She let us contact to the girl name Phillipine and she came to the meet us because we were missed. And she kindly explain all the things about studio.
When we look around the studio, the studio has two floors and first floor was for kitchen and living room and second floor was for bed room and it was divided into two. The bedding was clean and also the house was well cleaned up when we arrived. The house is much more amazing the photos on the AIRBNB. It is more like a gallery then the house. And also because the hot sunlight of the outside, inside was surprisingly cool enough for us! And also it has air conditioner and it worked well.
About the Wifi, because this studio has downstairs, that it doesn't worked at the bedroom. But it worked really well at the upstairs, so we could search all we need at there.
The studio is located at the center of Aix-en-provence, we could walk through everywhere we want to go. it just take 3minutes by walk to go to supermarket named Monoprix. And 3minutes by walk to go to the restaurant street.
If who are looking for the perfect place to take a rest in the middle of hot summer in Aix-en-provence. I want to say that this is the one! I just want to say thanks to Pascale that her studio gave us wonderful memories in Aix-en-Provence.
Pascale's house is amazing. Words cannot describe how nice it is to be frank.
The living room is at ground floor and the bedroom is underground. Great experience for city dwellers like myself.
Pascale made us very welcome on arrival, even though we arrived rather later than expected - missed bus from Marseilles airport etc. . Whilst the description of the 'duplex' as a 'loft' doesn't seem quite right(!), we loved the quirky feel of the apartment, and spent a very comfortable three nights there. Personally, I loved the fact that it was only a few minutes' walk to the main squares, where the superb (daily?) food markets are held, and a few more to the Cours Mirabeau. I felt totally at home in a city which I adore and know well, having studied there many years ago. A bonus for staying in the 'loft' is Le Bistrot - 50 metres away in the same street - which is the perfect French restaurant - classic bistro food, a brilliant welcome and great atmosphere. We ate there every evening. To be able to eat at a little table set on the narrow pavement, at a very reasonable price, made our short holiday perfect. It had opened three weeks before we arrived - very special. Then down to the Cours for a cafe Calva, and an evening promenade, then a few minutes' walk back to the wonderful 'loft'. All in all, a perfect short break, largely thanks to the convenience and location of Pascale's flat. It was like staying at a friend's home. An excellent first 'Airbnb' experience!
Pascale's place is fantastic and well located. It is exactly like the pictures and quite an experience to stay in. I arrived around midnight but she was very kind to ask her daughter to stay up to hand me the keys. My stay was very comfortable and interesting. Only thing I wish was the WiFi worked downstairs in the bedroom, but maybe there isn't much she can do about that. Overall, it's more than just a place to stay, it's a place to explore and very creatively built.
