  • I absolutely loved the location of this as it was very close to the tube. We had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay again!

  • Nargess was a wonderful host. We had to drive down from Oxfordshire and only arrived past 9pm. Yet Nargess was extremely accommodating, making check-in a breeze. Excellent location. Easy-going host. Neat arrangement for couples. Thanks for everything Nargess. Hope to see you again the next time we are in the UK!

  • The best 2 features of the flat are the impeccable location and comfortable bed to sleep in. Tube, buses, on your doorstep and very little more than 20 minutes away. Nargess is a caring hostess and will react to your questions. It is a flat for max 2 persons. With 3 in the flat, there is no place to even sit down for a chat. The bathroom was a disappointment: water pressure never really strong enough for a hot, strong shower - and the bathtub filling up verly slowly with a Jacuzzi that doesn't really work; adequate, but not great. Good value for your money.

  • Our stay in the one bedroom, Notting Hill flat was perfect! Nargess met us the day we arrived and explained what we needed to know bout the flat and where to locate places of interest. The flat was clean and equipped with everything that we needed. Although the flat is for two, our 19 year old college son slept comfortably on the fold out bed provided. The kitchen was the right size for preparing meals, and it was great having the option to eat in or go out.
Her flat is perfectly located to transportation, dining, and many other attractions. Nargess was warm and helpful during our stay. When we return to England, we will definitely return to Nargess's flat.

  • The location of this apartment is simply excellent! It is one minute walk from the nearest tube station(Central line). You are also very near to portobello road and all that comes with it! Just around the corner you also have Jamie Oliver's restaurant where you can also take cooking classes! Both my partner and I were very impressed by our host's welcome which started with a personal touch (milk, eggs, jam and eggs in the fridge). It may be a little thing to some but it shows the level of care and thought the host put into welcoming their guests. The apartment is very modern and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need (within reason) to do self catering. We stayed in February and the apartment was warm without having to use the central heating. The bathroom is very well equipped with a lovely shower. Throughout the booking process and during our stay, the communication with Nargess was excellent. Overall, I would strongly recommend this apartment for a couple.

  • Nargess's appartement is very confortable and in a very pleasant area. We have appreciate the way she welcome us, and we had a perfect stay in London. I hope we can come back soon.

  • The apartment was clean and spacious. Location was ideal, literally 1 minute from Notting Hill Gate. The bathroom was fairly luxurious, felt like a spa bathroom. I enjoyed my stay here and overall would recommend Nargess' place. The only minor issues were a) hot water pressure was fairly low and b) no dryer (only washer) in the unit

  • Great very central location! Small but clean, cozy and exactly as seen on pictures. Very beautiful exterior, the quintessential London white row house with a black fence. Fantastic neighborhood with so much at your footsteps.
We had a great stay and Nargess is a fantastic host. I forgot a pair of eye glasses and she was so kind as to post them back to me! Thank you Nargess for your kindness and hospitality.
I highly suggest staying in this beautiful (amazingly located) apartment!

  • I stayed at Nargess's place for two and a half weeks in January. Overall I had a wonderful stay. The flat is perfectly situated in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in London--Notting Hill. The apartment is small, but I found I had almost everything I needed.

One thing to keep in mind when booking this flat is that it's in a fairly busy building. Although you won't hear any street noise in this flat, it seemed there were people constantly moving in and out of the building (pretty much almost every day, or every other day). The flat is on the ground floor, so there can be a bit of noise due to the fact that the building door slams every time it closes. After a few days I got used to it, but it did take away from the peaceful ambiance I was promised. Also, people do like to have loud conversations in the hall for extended periods (especially when they are moving in or out), and when this happens it basically sounds like they are inside the flat with you having the conversation--this also was a bit disturbing but not unbearable as it didn't happen too often.

Also, I would caution anyone who is a "shower person" as the shower gets lukewarm at best, and the pressure is not good. Nargess told me that I had to turn the faucet all the way to receive hot water, but this definitely was not the problem as the faucet was completely turned toward HOT. The issue is absolutely the fact that the water pressure and the amount of hot water able to release from the shower hose is extremely minimal--the warmth felt like a trickle. I'm sure that Nargess will check into this and can easily solve the problem for future guests.

Offset by that not so great feature is a beautiful, over-sized (rare in London) bathtub. The bathtub faucet, ironically, has great pressure and I'm happy to say that the water coming out is fully hot. Lucky I'm a bath person, and I find taking baths much more relaxing and enjoyable anyhow.

The garden in the back was magical and very private (although not accessible from the flat). I saw a couple of foxes running through, some bunnies, and several cats. The garden provided a beautiful view during my stay--I enjoyed the mini-London-wildlife show!

The apartment is definitely comfortable, cozy, warm and the bathroom/bathtub is heaven. I would recommend this space to a friend for sure (if that friend was a bath person like me).

Nargess is a beautiful person, inside and out. I really enjoyed her energy, and the energy of the space in general reflected her peaceful state of being. I feel it was almost perfect for me, and I will definitely stay again in the future.

About
I am a person who is positive about every aspect of life. There are many things I like to do, to see and to experience. I like to think, to talk and to listen. I like to smell the wind coming from the ocean. I like to look at the clear sky. I like flowers in spring, rain in summer, leaves in autumn, and snow in winter. I like the countrysides' peace. I like walking. I like comfortable shoes. I like good books and true movies. I like the mountains and nature, I like people. I like to smile. I hope that my impression about myself and your impression about me are not so different.
