French-Inspired 1BD in West TriBeCa

Apartment - Shared room · Chambers Street, New York, NY 10282, United States

Welcome to my home in West TriBeCa. Two blocks from all major subways with easy access to major attractions. Reside in a beautiful well-appointed apartment and watch the most magnificent sunsets overlooking the Hudson River.

The Space

Fantastic well-appointed junior one-bedroom flat with open floor plan, luxury amenities and furnishings.

It is usually a shared stay but if you need to rent the entire apartment that's also an option.

Doorway opens into a south-east facing sun-filled apartment with hardwood floors, state-of-the-art kitchen with Kohler and white GE appliances, and dual-zone heating and air conditioning. The split-layout features a full-sized tufted bed, a comfortable sofa, freshly laundered linens and plenty of space for up to two guests.

The Master bathroom has a dual-showerhead, bathing tub, spa-quality bath towels and hand-assembled bath mats recycled from tropical hardwood.

Living and home office areas are well-appointed with a combination of antique and modern furniture featuring Philippe Starck Louis Ghost Chair, early-20th century French tufted sofa, 19th century antique Chinese carved wood cabinet, 18th century antique gilt salon mirror, Bose stereo with Lightning hook-up for iPhone 5 only.

For extra sleeping arrangements, I usually provide a double-layered, queen sized air mattress, with an electric pump along with all of the extra linens, pillows, and a comforter.

  • Belinda was a warm and helpful host - who was quick to respond to any questions or issues I raised. The apartment is sunny, beautifully appointed and perfect for one (the main bed is a large single). The building is quiet and secure. The sun lounge terrace affords great views of the Hudson (although wasn't always unlocked). Lots of services and sights were in easy walking distance, including Whole Foods and the subway. I would have no hesitation in recommending Belinda as a host and would be very happy to stay in her apartment again.

  • This was my first experience with Airbnb and I was really impressed. Belinda's apartment was comfortable, clean, bright, and impeccably decorated in a beautiful part of town with convenient access to many of best parts of Manhattan. There was a little confusion at the beginning of the stay when picking up a key, but overall Belinda was extremely responsive, accommodating, and went above and beyond with thoughtful details. Overall a lovely way to stay in NYC.

  • Belinda was a fantastic host. The apartment is clean, quiet, and exactly as pictured. My mother-in-law, who was initially nervous about staying alone, ended up enjoying her mornings at the apartment so much that we didn't hear from her until noon every day! It's a very nice location on the water next to a beautiful park. Belinda made everything very easy for us during our stay, including showing us her stash of coffee and teas, and making herself available to answer questions during our stay. Highly recommend!

  • Hi
I stayed at Belinda's apartment last week. Beautiful apartment and an excellent location. You have to see the view from the roof deck. I had breakfast there every morning. What a great way to start the day.
Also Belinda is a super host and a lovely person. Very charming and hospitable. She made me feel totally at home, was very responsive and accommodating.
I will definitely stay again. Eddie
