Climb the spiral staircase to reach your private perch. Enjoy the roof deck with your coffee in the morning. Walk to everything in downtown Santa Cruz, ride your bikes to the beach, redwoods and Big Sur.
This charming space will make for one of your more memorable get-aways. Original art and sculpture throughout space. Loft queen bed, down comforters and high thread count linens round out the comfort factor. Captain Nemo Inspired shower is a work of fine art. The living room is full of books (no t.v.) board games, and art supplies. A comfortable daybed sleeps a single, in the living room with the roof deck garden as a private space overlooking downtown.
The building is home to a yoga studio (body&soul) art studio & event space (7squidrow) bodywork and beauty services (bare) located in downtown Santa Cruz. Our Chestnut Street historic district is a beautiful stroll to everything you'd need including an amazing list of cafes and The Penny Ice Creamery all within licking distance.
We are located in a historically significant building, full of amazing art and sculpture. Need to host an event for fifty guests or less, private pop-up dinner party? Our working art studio/event space with petite stage is a magical venue with a secret garden.
Art and cultural workshops are booked through Art duJour and available online. It's a great escape located close to so much.
This was a wonderful, cozy place for my friend and I to have a retreat together. The details of the space are incredibly creative and set a magical ambience. It was obviously put together with love and care. Christine set everything up for us perfectly, and provides lovely details down to the tea, chocolate and art supplies that we enjoyed throughout our stay. Thanks Christine! We'd love to come back.
This is a great place to get away and relax. It is unique and filled with creative artwork. It is centrally located with lots of great cafés and shops close by. There is live music in The Reef Bar most nights and it is right around the corner. I hope to stay here again when we are back in Santa Cruz.
We had a fantastic experience. The Stage Coach Apartment is a work of art. I will be staying here again, without question, and recommend this listing to anyone visiting Santa Cruz.
This was my first AirBnB experience and it was perfect! Christine's place is so unique and homey and had a wonderful energy. You are walking distance to downtown Santa Cruz and you can ride your bike to the beach. I enjoyed a cup of coffee (complementary from Christine) every morning on her roof deck and straight up chilled :) She has a lot of really interesting books to check out too! HIGHLY recommend this place and thank you Christine for being such a great hostess!
Such an awesome little hobbit house! This apartment was a great little getaway for my husband and me. Very centrally located in downtown Santa Cruz--we walked to breakfast, dessert, etc--but the apartment itself is really something special with tons of artistic touches. Christine made check in easy and was responsive to any questions. Great experience!
This place was great. Unique, cool and very central. We had a great stay in Christine's house. Lots of really cool books, amazing bathroom and great light. Would highly recommend to someone who is looking for a perfect Santa Cruz experience.
Stayed here with 2 friends for 3 nights.. and enjoyed every second of it. A cool, quirky and comforting house within walking distance from the main drag. Had a lot of fun just noticing little details in the house.
The house was clean, had extra pillows and blankets and very comfortable beds; The Sunbed was used as a 2nd bed, which was great.
Although we didnt meet Christine she was very fast to respond and friendly via email.
Thanks again!! Won't hesitate to stay here again
christine's absolutely amazing santa cruz stage coach apt was my first airbnb experience, and i'm hooked. it couldn't have been better or more perfect for me. christine has crafted one of the most creative, comfortable and inspiring spaces i've spent time in. while the pics are awesome, they still don't do it justice. there is so much to both stimulate and soothe; from the clever architectural details, to the cozy hobbit like sleeping space, the eclectic variety of reading materials, the various art and available art supplies, and to the well appointed and fun kitchen. for those that are curious and creative, i can't recommend it highly enough.
What a beautiful, inspiring, clean and sunny place in such an amazing location. Thank you Christine!
We loved this place and definitely plan on coming back soon! Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, it was warm and cozy too! a perfect place to kick back. Also, it was very central, making it easy to walk everywhere we needed to go.
