About this listing
The Arrow House, is a stylish studio cottage. It is a favorite in our group of three cottages across the street from the Deschutes River and trails that lead to McKay Park, The Old Mill and Les Schwab Amphitheater.
The space is full of cool designer touches like tall barn board walls and a black Smeg refrigerator that make it feel like a miniature modern loft. There is a top of the line king sized bed and a twin lounger futon bed made out of weathered oak pallets. A dual head rain shower and a little private outdoor sitting area make it a great space to get away.
There is a hot tub on the property that is shared by all three cottages, as well as a fire pit, stocked with wood, an herb garden and complimentary bicycles and outdoor toys and games stored in the boat shed.
There is a hot tub and fire pit and gas BBQ shared by the guests of the three cottages. Cottage 1 and Cottage 2 of 911 NW Albany share a yard but have separate entrances and seprate parking spots. We will provide details on where and how to park in your check-in letter.
Interaction with Guests
I like to check you in if I am available and show you around and get you settled. My assistant Anna also may check you in and there is a key box if you are arriving late. I live about 10 minutes away so I am available if needed.
The cottages all sit in one of Bend's best neighborhoods. The river trail that leads to McKay Park is across the street, Columbia park with a pirate ship playground and grassy fields is a block away. You can walk to coffee shops, breweries, live music and entertainment.
The park and ride ski bus leaves to go to Mt. Bachelor from a parking lot about a block away. The bus also goes to the mountain in the summer for hiking and riding the lifts to sight see.

This is our second stay at this cottage and it was, as expected, amazing. The cottage is cute and well taken care of. Things are clean, the kitchen has all the things you need to make it work! The location is also ideal. It is very close to the river and walkable to groceries and restaurants.
Our stay at the studio cottage was wonderful. The styling and decoration of the place is impeccable, and it is perfectly located close to the river and just a short walk to food, coffee, and beer! And although the place didn't have A/C, there was a portable A/C unit in the place when we got there during a heat wave that was just what we needed. Staying in only one of the 3 buildings on the property was not an issue at all, we barely saw other renters, and the street/neighborhood was peaceful and quiet.
The cottage was super cute and as pictured. It is the perfect size for two and includes pretty much everything one might need while on vacation. The amenities were nice including the hot tub and dual shower heads. The location was better than I could have hoped for as walking around town was a breeze.
Sarah was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. She was fast in responding and the studio was adorable. It was our first trip to Bend for my fiancé's birthday. It was a great central location to downtown, the river, and the Old Mill. She and her husband were fast to react when we thought the carbon monoxide alarm went off, of course it was just the battery! I highly recommend.
This cozy little cottage was perfect for me and my husband. It is in a great area, very convenient. It is very clean, comfortable and modern. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
Sarah was an amazing host....the instructions were very thorough and easy to understand. The home is adorable, layed out very nicely and decorated fabulously! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! Sarah was very accommodating in letting us stay late as our departure wasn't until after check out. The communication was fabulous. Was a great experience!!!
I enjoyed a wonderful stay in the Arrow House with my wife and young daughter. It's a lovely space with amazing light from the skylights, and a great location that's walkable from lots of things to do or see in the city.
We had a little confusion initially about where we were supposed to go, and Sarah's assistant Anna cleared it all right up for us immediately, and even helped us locate some kitchen equipment we forgot to pack ourselves.
If we do another trip to Bend, I'll be contacting Sarah again.
