The place was very clean and neat. Although we could not meet the host she was very courteous and kept checking on is to see if we were fine. Our room was very nice and we had a great morning in the garden. Kitchen was well equipped and spotless. Everything else was meticulously planned by host to make our stay comfy. We will definitely recommend the places. The dogs in the house are very gentle and friendly. All in all it was a great stay.
Tracy was awesome, sweet, and accommodating. Her place is big and she keeps it so tidy and clean. My boyfriend sent flowers to surprise me for my birthday and she arranged the flowers in my room. I absolutely fell in love with her dogs!! I had a wonderful experience and it's close to Screen Gem Studios where I was filming at while in Atlanta.
This place is great! We were made to feel so welcome by Tracy as well as the other guests in the house! The dogs are lovely and friendly too!
The room itself was wonderful and spacious with plenty of light and a brilliant fan for the hot and humid Atlanta weather! Didn't see much of the neighbourhood as we went straight from the house to the MARTA (metro) station, which was only a two minute walk, and back most days but from the people I did see everyone was lovely and friendly. From there it only takes 15 minutes on the train to get to the airpot and 10 to get into the main Atlanta metro station. So convenient!
I would thoroughly encourage anyone looking for a trip to Atlanta to stay here as it's a great location and amazing value for money!
Overall a positive experience and lovely place to stay! Tracy was a fantastic hostess who was better at communicating with me than I was with her ( I forgot to write and tell her our arrival time). She was very accommodating and gave us a great orientation to the room and the house.
The two people I traveled with and I took great care to follow all of the house rules and be very quiet, but we felt that some of the other guests didn't do the same. A couple people made quite a bit of noise coming in the house late at night and a few more did the same in the kitchen and dining room. This is not the host's fault by any means, it's just to prepare other guests that it's a busy place with a lot of traffic. We were grateful for the fan in the room to provide some white noise
We stayed for only one night. The house is beautiful. There are several rooms for hosting so you will meet other travelling people there. All is very clean and comfy. The train station to town and airport is very near.
A gem in Southwest Atlanta! This house is amazing. Spacious, clean and relaxing, the property was made for entertaining guests. The large common rooms are great for relaxing, working, reading, etc. I particularly liked the quiet music that was often playing in the background. The kitchen was functional and trendy, the bathrooms were spacious and clean and the rooms were exactly as described. The dogs were a rare treat; I enjoyed having them around. The MARTA train station was a few minute's walk, making our travels around the city that much simpler. I highly recommend a stay here; you will find your host cheerful, gracious and accommodating. Thanks so much!

About the Host, Vintage Bungalow
Easy going, creative types. We like cooking, entertaining, local, organic food, yoga, good wine, lots of good music, art, film, animals, nature, sailing, the ocean, traveling, calm and tranquil spaces, and try to find beauty in all things. We love to have fun and not take life too seriously. We enjoy hosting and meeting new friends from all cultures and backgrounds and don't really follow the mainstream of American culture much at all. We love to buy houses and fix them up. We have quite a few places where we host guests and try to be as accommodating as possible. When staying in a private room, you will be in a room in one of our houses, most likely, there will be a couple of dogs in the house as well, so animal lovers usually love staying with us. Our properties are in lower income neighborhoods where real, local ATLiens live. You won't see many tourists around, mostly, just typical working class folks who love to sit on the front porch and unwind as part of Southern culture. We always say hello to each other in passing, so please be friendly and observe our friendly custom when encountering locals, they will appreciate the gesture. Because we are in a lower income neighborhood, we can offer more upscale accommodations to travelers on a budget. Also, for travelers relying on public transportation, we are on the Marta line conveniently situated halfway between the Airport and downtown. Our rates are very reasonable and not subject to negotiation. Rates, terms, and policies are fixed and applied equally to all guests. We look forward to hosting you one day soon.
