Dogs! Yes, we know they are adorable! Irresistible, even! But they are master manipulators when it comes to food. We ask that you please do not give them any people food. There is a jar of dog treats in the kitchen which you are free to give them as many as you like. Also, please make sure to keep the plastic gate closed that separates the kitchen from the living room.

The room looked just like in the pictures. The area is quite large and the bathrooms are comfortable to use as well. My friends and I really enjoyed staying here. It's fairly close to both the airport and the city center. Tracy was very friendly and made us feel at home right away. She wasn't present when we checked in, but she gave us all the necessary details to enter the house and we didn't have to wait for her to arrive. The dogs at the place are an absolute delight to hang out with. All the dogs are very friendly and love any human contact at all. Papita, the youngest one took the cake in terms of being friendly and active all the time. The house is artfully decorated and shows that Tracy has a great taste in home decor.
In the room, the beds were comfortable and the room also had a table where my friends and I could work. We were 3 people, but it could accommodate one more easily. The bathroom is right next to the room so that was convenient as well. The only issues we experienced was that the room did not have enough wall sockets for us to draw power for charging laptops and phones. The Wi-Fi was unreliable at times, especially at night. I think everybody at home might've been using it, causing a heavy load. I was able to access internet again in the morning without any problems. One other thing I noticed was that a sink was provided in the rooms so that nobody had to use the bathroom for it. However, the sink did not have hand soap next to it, so I was forced to use the sink inside the bathroom where there was soap. Visitors also please remember to bring soap for your shower, because it's not provided here like they do at hotels.
All in all, spacious room, beautiful house, friendly host and a decent location.
Thanks for the thoughtful review. We know the internet is not great here, but it was just announced that Google Fiber is coming to our area, and we're so thrilled. Hopefully it will be much faster than what we currently have. As for the wall sockets and soap, I wish you would have said something! There are 9 sockets in the room, of which 3 are used for lamps, leaving 6 for guests to use. We've never had any feedback about that not being enough, but we do have a stash of power strips, extension cords, outlet adapters, chargers, etc... and would've been happy to provide you with a couple of power strips to use. Also, we have a bin full of toiletries including everything from soap, hair products, lotion, razors, dental floss, first aid items, toothbrushes, etc... available for guests in need. Please don't hesitate to ask for anything you may need to make your stay more comfortable. We will always do whatever we possibly can to make it happen. And Pepita sends her love...
We had a wonderful time at Tracey's!
Everything was clean and spacious. Tracey was super helpful and had always time for our requests.
Her dogs were super cute and it looks as beautiful as in the pictures. It's only one block away from the Marta and you get into town easily.
We would definitely recommend to stay at her house!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying with Tracy and her three dogs. Tracy was very kind and nice to converse with. Her dogs were very warm and playful, spending a good deal of time with us. If you love dogs, this is the place to stay. One word of caution though; there was music playing throughout the house so if that will bother you, it will be something to take into account.
Unfortunately our timing was off and I didn't get to meet Tracy. However, we had great communication and we felt very comfortable coming and going. The house is as beautiful as the photos! It's only a block from Marta but very quiet. We had a peaceful night sleep. Despite not being in a great neighborhood it's a very nice place to stay.
I really really enjoyed staying with Tracy. She always made time for our extra requests and was super polite, courteous and respectful. Really loved staying with her and would definitely do so again!
Es un lugar bien limpio y ordenado, llegué antes de la hora y sin embargo me recibió las maletas sin problemas. Esta cerca de la estación del Metro (Marta) y cerca del Downtown.

Easy going, creative types. We like cooking, entertaining, local, organic food, yoga, good wine, lots of good music, art, film, animals, nature, sailing, the ocean, traveling, calm and tranquil spaces, and try to find beauty in all things. We love to have fun and not take life too seriously. We enjoy hosting and meeting new friends from all cultures and backgrounds and don't really follow the mainstream of American culture much at all. We love to buy houses and fix them up. We have quite a few places where we host guests and try to be as accommodating as possible. When staying in a private room, you will be in a room in one of our houses, most likely, there will be a couple of dogs in the house as well, so animal lovers usually love staying with us. Our properties are in lower income neighborhoods where real, local ATLiens live. You won't see many tourists around, mostly, just typical working class folks who love to sit on the front porch and unwind as part of Southern culture. We always say hello to each other in passing, so please be friendly and observe our friendly custom when encountering locals, they will appreciate the gesture. Because we are in a lower income neighborhood, we can offer more upscale accommodations to travelers on a budget. Also, for travelers relying on public transportation, we are on the Marta line conveniently situated halfway between the Airport and downtown. Our rates are very reasonable and not subject to negotiation. Rates, terms, and policies are fixed and applied equally to all guests. We look forward to hosting you one day soon.
