Interaction with Guests
Feel free to come and go as you please - you can have complete privacy but we are available next door should you want to talk or have any questions about the neighborhood or the unit ...
We live within walking distance to some great eats including Grand Central Bakery, a few top notch food trucks (Delta Cafe, Cloud City Ice Cream, El Gallo and Yolk). Library is up the street as well as one of the most beautiful wooden furniture places ever (The Joinery). We have huge trees in the hood which provide nice shade in the summer. There is great walking around us including through the Eastmoreland district near Reed College. First cup coffee serves Stumptown, yum! Papacinos Cafe offers great coffee too and comfy places to sit and read the Oregonian or NY Times. We are slated to get a Grand Central Bakery up the street in the near future and a New Seasons next year as well as the famous, Dick's Kitchen. We love Woodstock. If you bring your bikes, there are safe and easy ways to get anywhere you want around the city. We are close to safeway and Bike Gallery.

We know you will have a fabulous time in Portland!
Since our unit is accessible through our side yard, we ask that you close the gate behind you so that our dog "Carrots" doesn't accidentally get out. Since it is a family neighborhood, we ask that you refrain from smoking and drugs and be respectful of noise, especially at night.
We will leave an ample parking space for you DIRECTLY in front of our house - very convenient for you! We ask that you don't park in front of neighbors' houses as it is inconvenient for them. Thanks!!

Zoey and Jeff were extremely responsive and friendly. Everything was easy and taken care of. I loved all the natural light and they really put a lot of thought into furnishing the place with just the right amount of items and small extra touches. It had a nice comfortable at home feel and menus and suggestions of places to go which I found useful.
Unfortunately I was there during a couple nearly 100 degree days so it was a little warm but they had window fan and it was actually completely manageable for me, closing the windows/shades during the daytime and opening the windows and fans at night time.
I'm a stickler for cleanliness and the place was extremely clean. I'm also very picky about noise and it was very quiet and in a gorgeous neighborhood, walking distance to the grocery store, a fabulous handmade ice cream shop, and yummy restaurants. I was attending an week long event at Reed college and while I had a rental car I was sharing, I was also able to walk to Reed a couple of times from the studio (15 minute walk).
The following were not issues for me but note: they have a very friendly easy mellow going dog that did not bother me at all, and there is no door to the bathroom from the studio although it is very well separated (I had already suspected this from the photos). Again these were not a problem for me at all but if multiple people are staying here may be interested to know.
Zoey and Jeff are great hosts, and let you know their whereabouts just in case you need anything. Their charming studio apartment above the garage is immaculate, and has everything you need for a short stay. The location in the Woodstock neighbourhood is very close to all the cafes, bars, and restaurants in the area, and it makes you feel right at home immediately. Their dog Carrots is very friendly as well. I really enjoyed my visit here, and would definitely stay here the next time I am in Portland!
Zoey and Jeff were very accommodating. The space was immaculate and exactly as described. Definitely a cool Portland feel. And how could I not mention their dog, Carrots, who was there to greet us when we arrived. We highly recommend it! Thanks again!
This loft was perfect and really made my Portland stay feel like home! The space was warm, bright, and a great size for my boyfriend and I. Zoey was a very friendly and helpful host. I especially appreciated the little treats she left for us and her recommendations for dining around Woodstock (which is a lovely neighborhood!) I would absolutely stay here again!
This was my first BNB experience and it honestly couldn't have gone any smoother. Zoey and Jeff's place is gorgeous, and in a very accessible, and adorable part of Portland. My boyfriend and I were there to get a feel for the area since we're moving up there soon, and Zoey was extremely generous, and gave us tips, and suggestions of things to do and places to eat. 10/10 experience, and I'd recommend to anyone visiting the area.
About the Host, Zoey & Jeff
We love to bike Portland with our family, play basketball and frisbee, paint, draw and eat. Between the two of us we are rusty with German & Japanese (and familiar with Portuguese and Danish) and have both enjoyed traveling and living abroad. We have a big friendly dog named "Carrots".
