Other Things to Note
The room has no window and can be hot in summer, but there is a large fan mounted to the wall above the bed to keep you cool. The rest of the apartment has air conditioning.
We have a very cute and super friendly little pug dog living with us. His name is Otis. He is an older gentleman, a quiet type and a snuggler.
We thank you for the good vibes you bring, and ask that you are tidy, and clean up after yourself in the living areas, kitchen and bathroom.
Please do not bring guests back to the apartment who have not been included in your booking.
There is no smoking inside, but you can do so on our lovely fire escape :)
I had a great time in New York with Liz, Brenna, Jeremy and Otis. I was uneasy about living in a closet at the beginning, only to find out that in fact it's not bad at all. There's enough room for sleeping and reading on the bed, there's storage space under the bed, and I could keep my large suitcase in the living room. The hosts are very welcoming and have thought of every little detail for the guest to have a pleasant stay. I much appreciate the maps and guidebooks, which helped me find my way in New York even without a smartphone data plan. I also liked the rather bohemian and culturally diverse neighbourhood. Would strongly recommend any time, and would surely stay there again.
Joseph, Liz & Brenna are amazing hosts, very welcoming and interested in your needs. Available to help and make you feel great. The room is small but comfortable and clean. The apartment is clean as well. Ottis, the dog, is very friendly and quiet. The neighborhood didn't seem safe at first but it is fine, not to worry. Subway is accessible and easy to get to Manhattan with no transfers. I'd definitely come back.
Hosts are so kind, Room is good, and dog is so cute!lol
I like there. Thank you for everything. If I can speak English more, I wanted to talk with you guys:( but I had a great days:) Thank you!
As mentioned before the room is not very big, but really cosy and totally fine for some days (there is also a big living room you can use). There is enough space for luggage and the whole apartment was super clean. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Otis (the dog) is not annoying at all and one of the most laid-back dogs I have ever seen. It's close to the subway and in a cool neighbourhood. All in all I had a great stay and nothing to complain about. Thank you very much!
The apartment is really nice, absolutely clean and cozy. Creative apartment and it is the place with "soul" of hosts, not one of hundreds grey and boring rental spaces. But the room is so tiny, in fact it is a wardrobe with bed. I didn't realize it by photos and was frustrated about that. Joseph, Liz and Brenna were helpful and friendly, even the dog was funny =) Location is comfortable with 2 subway lines nearby it is very easy to get to from Manhattan and JFK.
