- Wifi access.
- Large fan for summer nights
- Storage space under bed with shelving above bed and a four-drawer nightstand.
- New York City maps and guide books
- Printer to print tickets, maps etc
- TV with Netflix

- AC in the living areas
Interaction with Guests
Joseph and Liz both work from home so you will likely see them around the house in the day. Brenna works long hours in TV and is often home late in the evenings.
We all tend to have busy schedules, but when we are home and not working we welcome guests to hang out with us if they'd like to.
Bushwick, often referred to as the little sister of Williamsburg, is vibrant, creative and full of life.
- Grocery stores and laundromats one block away
- Bars, restaurants, cafes within walking distance
HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD:
TACO FACTORY; eat the freshest tacos right off the production line.
STREET-ART; created by local artists, murals like the one pictured are a striking feature of the neighborhood.
MARIA HERNANDEZ PARK; beautiful and right outside the apartment.
We are within walking distance to two subway lines and both are approximately a 15 minute ride to Manhattan.

Other Things to Note
The room has no window and can be hot in summer, but there is a large fan mounted to the wall above the bed to keep you cool. The rest of the apartment has air conditioning.
We have a very cute and super friendly little pug dog living with us. His name is Otis. He is an older gentleman, a quiet type and a snuggler.
We thank you for the good vibes you bring, and ask that you are tidy, and clean up after yourself in the living areas, kitchen and bathroom.
Please do not bring guests back to the apartment who have not been included in your booking.
There is no smoking inside, but you can do so on our lovely fire escape :)
Room is nice and cozy, it's enough for sleeping. You may keep your baggage in the living room. There are all you need, Joseph,Liz and Brenna will help you, they are really great hosts. It's close to subway (about 5 min to Jefferson st, or less).
The neighborhood is great, close to subway into the city and grocery stores/ cafes etc. The room is small but warm and cozy. And the place in general was lovely.
L, J and B all some of the nicest people in NYC. I had the best time in their apartment, they make you feel like home and really what more could you ask for. Bushwick itself is a really nice buzzing neighbourhood, very easy and quick to get into the city so its a great place to stay.
Had a great time staying with Joseph, Liz & Brenna! They were all lovely and always happy to help with all my questions. The room is adorable, small but they made the most of it, putting underbedding storage and side draws which was great for my week stay. I love the bed sheet and I found the bed super comfortable. I also loved the fairy lights! Thanks for the lovely stay!
Great location, very close to the L train for Manhattan. The room is small, as described, but it has everything you need. The house is clean and very quite.
The hosts are absolutely great, very nice and helpful.
Room was exactly as described, just enough for travellers. It was a bit warm but hopefully there was a fan. I am used to sleep in those condition especially in summer so it wasn't a problem for me, I slept well.
The apartment in general is great even and there are all what you need to feel like at home.
I appreciated particulary the host who let you live as you want. I'm sure there are very friendly and interresting people, but I came back every night exhausted so I just went to bed and didn't really discuss with them.
Everything was just perfect!
The room/flat/neighborhood is just as described and I felt very comfortable there. Liz and Joseph are warm and welcoming hosts and made my start in this city a great one! Thanks so much!

We are three friends who love hosting people from all over the world! We've also traveled a lot too!
Joseph and Liz are from New Zealand and have been living in New York for several years. Brenna is Canadian and has recently moved to NYC after a few years in Texas. Joseph is a kinetic artist - he makes chain reaction machines to teach kids about science, Liz and Brenna work in Film/TV post-production.
We also have a pug dog named Otis living with us too. He is a quiet and friendly little guy.
We are open to all types of guests - whether you just need a room and wish to keep to yourself, or would like to hang out with us and share stories.
