The space

Super spacious apartment, Gay friendly, Pet friendly, Bright, Full of light, with Creative, Well-travelled hosts.

New York is expensive; not only to visit, but also to live, so we got creative with our walk-in closet. Yes, originally a closet, it is now a very small, but very cozy private room.

- Private room with single/twin bed
- Clean sheets, blankets and towel.
- Wifi access.
- Large fan for summer nights
- Storage space under bed, shelving above bed and a four-drawer nightstand.

Guest access

- New York City maps and guide books
- Printer to print tickets, maps etc
- Hairdryer
- TV with Netflix
- Full kitchen
- AC in the living areas

Interaction with guests

We all tend to have busy schedules, but when we are home and not working we welcome guests to hang out with us if they'd like to

The neighborhood

Bushwick, often referred to as the little sister of Williamsburg, is vibrant, creative and full of life. Street Art Murals created by local artists are a striking feature of the neighborhood.

- Grocery stores and laundromats one block away
- Bars, restaurants, cafes within walking distance

Getting around

We are within walking distance of two subway lines.
- The L train (Jefferson St station)
- The M train (Central Ave station)
Both take approximately 20 minutes to get to Manhattan.

Other things to note

The room has no window and can be hot in summer, but there is a large fan mounted to the wall above the bed. The rest of the apartment has air conditioning.

We thank you for the good vibes you bring to our home and only ask for the following.

Nice and warm hosts. Good place if you wanna discover NYC, its only 8 minutes walking to the L train station wich takes you to Manhattan. Groceries, delis and shops in the area.

Perfect hosts. Perfect neighbourhood. Accurate description of room and apartment. This really is the ideal place for the traveller looking for a great environment on a budget. I doubt you will find such a good vibe elsewhere. Your hosts will respect your schedule/privacy, but also be kind and warm if you need advice or company. I highly recommend staying here on your next trip!

Liz & Joseph are friendly and relaxed, helpful when I needed info but mostly our paths didn't cross much. Neighborhood felt safe to walk around in the dark to and from subways. Room got a little hot but thankfully there is a fan, and while tiny, I managed just fine in it, even with my gigantic bag! Great for a place to sleep between seeing the sights in Manhattan.

I had a great time here. Liz is an amazing host and the flat is very comfortable. The neighbourhood has everything you need, with very nice bars and great South and Central American food.
