- MORE ABOUT US AND OUR HOME -
My fiance and I recently transformed the guest wing of our 3-bedroom, single story house into a unique, private entry beach bungalow, perfect for traveling surfers and beach lovers! You will enter and exit through your own side door, which opens into a short hallway with attached bathroom. Your spacious bedroom is at the end of the hall and includes a comfortable queen bed plus a custom single murphy bed and an air mattress for additional guests (must be pre-registered and max occupancy is 4 people). This entire guest wing is locked off from the rest of the house, so you have complete privacy while indoors NOTE: there is no kitchen access. You do however, have a mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster and microwave in your room, a large closet for storage, and a small breakfast table in the room. The outdoor space is all common area and we encourage you to utilize it! There is almost always street parking in front of the house.
We are both very active, outdoorsy, water people. I’m a local surfboard shaper and offer a DISCOUNT ON CUSTOM BOARDS FOR OUR GUESTS. Whether you're here to surf or simply enjoy some of the best beaches around, we'd love to point you in the direction of some of our favorites! We are both generally busy during the week, but like to relax and have a few friends over on the weekends.

We’re pretty laid back and want you to feel at home while you’re here, but we do have a few pretty standard requirements:
1) We are very respectful of our neighbors and ask that our guests keep outside noise levels at a reasonable level after 10:00 pm.
2) No smoking on the property
3) No drugs
4) No guests other than those pre-registered on Air B&B
5) Treat our home with respect and report any damages immediately
6) Let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable! If you have any complaints whatsoever we'll do our best to resolve them while you're here.
Very welming, nice quiet neighborhood, a little freeway noise can be heard. Close to all the spots we like to go.
Great place to relax in Cali, the room was very cozy and clean. Bryan is nice and helpfull. I would totally recomend it
I enjoyed the stay at this place. Scottie was sweet and friendly to welcome us. The space was perfect for our stay, and it was as advertised. Check it out if you're in the San Clemente area.
Bryan and Scotti were excellent hosts! They were so welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. The room is very nice and private. I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely go back!! :)
We pulled into the laid-back neighborhood where Scotti and Bryan live and were immediately greeted by our hosts. They made sure to tell us beforehand that the house had recently been painted blue so we knew exactly where to go. They have created a comfortable, casual, beach bungalow with access to a rooftop sundeck which allowed us to see the ocean and the sunset. Bryan and Scotti were so gracious, even letting me borrow an extra wetsuit that just happened to fit. They told my husband and I about some surfing spots for a beginner like me and gave me encouragement. In the morning Bryan brought us fresh blackberries from their lush Hawaiian-like back yard.
The neighborhoods were great to run in especially if you like to run hills, but you can run down to the beach area and there is a nice trail along the tracks and ocean. I felt very safe wherever I ran. Additionally, it’s picturesque. While I was gone my husband napped on the dreamy, pillow-top bed. When I returned we watched the last vestige of the sunset from the deck while I stretched (it’s a big deck!). The sea breeze cleared my head and I was ready for a hot shower. They created a sunny bathroom that made me feel both happy and relaxed. There was shampoo, conditioner and bodywash, soft towels, and a blow dryer all at the ready.
We went to a restaurant they recommended (South of Nicks). I can’t wait to go back. We drove, but I think it was only about a mile away. If my husband had not just had knee surgery we would have walked. We like to walk so a mile isn't that far at all. Everything is nearby and Bryan and Scotti give a great guide on their site on where to get coffee, donuts, bagels, lunch, dinner, etc, plus they are very approachable and easy to talk to about the area.
There was a microwave and coffeemaker in the room plus wineglasses, mugs, and glasses: there was even fresh water in the minifridge. I loved the table near the window which I used to peruse a surfer magazine. You could also grab an interesting book from the closet shelf to read in bed or while curled up in the corner chair or under a comfortable blanket on the rooftop sundeck with a glass of ice tea, wine, or your morning hot chocolate or coffee. We wish we could have stayed there a whole week. If we had stayed another night we would have watched one of the DVDs available. For us it was a perfect retreat and I will recommend it to all of my friends. (There is a hidden bonus bed in there if you are a one-kid family). Bryan and Scotti are considerate, attentive and intelligent. I will stay there every time I’m in San Clemente. You will love this place, too.
Awesome place, great people. The place was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable.
Bryan was a pleasure as a host. He welcomed me and my gf once we arrived and made everything really relaxed and enjoyable-- especially the roof porch. I would definitely recommend staying with bryan if you're traveling thru south OC

About the Host, Bryan
Life aquatic! My fiance and I spend as much time in or on the water as possible, whether it's surfing, bodysurfing, spear fishing or sailing, when we're not working or sleeping, chances are we're playing in the ocean (or with our new puppy Brewer).
