My stay here was very, very comfortable. The condo is as promised, quiet and very clean. The furnishings are very nice, comfortable, beach themed and clean. The beds and bathrooms are great. The kitchen is open and has a full size refrigerator. There is a nice kitchen table with four chairs and there is a high bar also. The pool is clean and a nice place to hang out with a view of the inter-coastal waterway. (The beach is across the street). The pool area has two large outdoor grills under a patio roof, tables with umbrellas and chairs so you can grill and eat outside. I would definitely stay here again. A friend and I used the inter-coastal to paddle-board. We were able to put in at a small dock next door to the condo grounds. We rented our boards from Water Monkey Stand Up Paddle Boarding, who delivered them and picked them up from our condo. He comes highly recommended!!! Our paddle on the inter-coastal was delightful! We saw so many high end homes on the water and from a perspective that few see. We also searched for a mama and baby manatee that we had seen a couple of days prior to our paddle. Another day we paddled in St. Pete's Bay and dolphins joined us at times!
The host was quite responsive and helpful and yes, the condo was as promised: beautifully located on the water. Good looking facilities. The master bed was firm yet comfortable. The pillows, however, were completely useless: extremely thin and totally non-supportive. They earned a definite red flag on a very important factor in creating a comfortable experience. My neck was hurting from the next morning forward. They should be immediately replaced. There was an event on our first night when a sewer-like odor permeated the master bedroom only, and was really an issue. It subsided after the first night. I called the host the next day to look into it. She said that this was the first she heard of such an occurance and that she would check with the adjoining management company who shared the same building to see what the problem (and solution?) might be. Didn't hear back from her but the odor did not return. Change the pillows for sure!
I actually left you a voicemail shortly after we got off the phone. I also had my maintenance man stop by later that day. He could not find any issues, not has the odor returned. I am sorry for the inconvenience, though. I will checkout the pillows this week.
